I remember the one song they did for a Levi's commercial. I thought it was pretty good actually. Certainly nowhere near as bad as the likes of Nickelback or Creed or any of that nasty pseudo rock shit.vurt wrote:remember stiltskin anybody?

I had a schoolboy crush on Jas Mann from Babylon Zoo. Had the f**ker plastered all over my bedroom walls like some kind of shit-taste c**t.robojam wrote:Yeah, some good parts to it but not that memorable really.vurt wrote:no, the intro was indeed pretty cool. rest of the song became a bit meh! after that imo.robojam wrote:I remember the one song they did for a Levi's commercial. But definitely a bigon Babylon Zoo!
edit: There was also the Jas Mann VHS which had every performance they did on TV recorded to it, just in case I fancied watching several sonically identical performances of Spaceman performed across a variety of low budget Channel 4 sets.

Problem with Spaceman was they used the speeded up remix in the ad (which was pretty cool) then released the regular version which was a bit.... dull. IMHO.vurt wrote:no, the intro was indeed pretty cool. rest of the song became a bit meh! after that imo.

Best jean ad music though was the woman buying the condoms one, "novelty waves", introduced me to the mighty Biosphere <swoon>.

Comments and ratings disabled. Good call.
For my money:
I make music: progressive-acoustic | electronica/game-soundtrack work | progressive alt-metal

I am not an ICP fan, but that is far from the worst song ever. Its actually kind of forgettable. There are probably 10 worse songs playing on pop radio at this moment.
I was going to make a list of 10 worse out of the Billboard top 100, but that would mean I would have to listen to a lot of bad music to prove my point and its not worth it. "Gangnam Style" is definitely worse, as is "Try" by Pink. I can't stand "Some Nights" by the poorly named fun.
"Jar of Hearts" by Christine Perri has one of the worst lyrics of all time.

Even if the piano player can't play, keep the party going.

I'll take your MacArthur Parks, your We Built This Citys, your Two Tickets To Paradise and your Achy Breaky Hearts 10 out of 10 times and twice on Sundays over this:
Not only does it get my vote for Worst Song Ever, but I am utterly convinced that it is absolutely definitive and irrefutable proof that there is not now, nor has there ever been, nor will there ever be, a god.
