The truth is, apparently no one has compiled a list of viable synths to use for your purpose. If I had the list actually compiled and handy, I would have sent it to you within hours of your asking.

Since I didn't have the list of suitable synths, I sent you the best thing I did have, which was some basic conservative legal advice. I think some others tried to do the same. They gave you what they had available to give.

I just want to add that my advice isn't only for your benefit. It is also for anyone else who reads this thread now or in the future. You might already know about all the things I mentioned, but someone else might benefit from my repeating some basic legal guide lines.

I hope you're not upset.

So, not exactly something to do with the topic, but related:

As said in a previous post, I have a whole bunch of sampler patches (some are from sampled, layered, f**ked up and whatever VSTis, some are made using all sorts of noise generating devices).
So far I have them in EXS format, but I could easily transform them into HALion format as well. Someone else might transform them into SF2, if required, using CDXtract or so. Apart from that, as the samples are all there in .wav format and further contain properly set loop points, one might use them in whatever sampler.

I would gladly share all those patches, but the space my provider offers is too much limited, I just have like 15MBs left or so, which isn't even remotely enough to keep things online all the time.

So - is there any way to get some free webspace, others than at unreliable servers such as Geocities and the likes?

I know that some people host their files straight at K-v-R, but as there's server problems allready, I don't even ask for such an option.
Maybe some of you folks have larger amounts of space and some bandwith left?
I mean, sure, I could get some commercial webspace (I had a domain for quite some time, but a) things were getting unreliable and b) it was too expensive), but as I would only be using it for those patches and nothing else, I can't see why I would need to pay for that... I'm not charging any money for them at all.
Perhaps one of you folks has an idea.
Btw, here's one of those patches (EXS format only, Kontakt and HALion will read it straight away, wave files contain proper note names and loop points, so some automapping feature should work as well):
