Sorry if this might be a dumb question but just want to be safe.

·Gating (as Trancegate effect, is allowed, it would be the same as muting on/off the channel.
·Compression is of course allowed.
·Saturation allowed always that the oringinal sound is not unrecognizable. So a bit of saturation is ok.

Waveshapers are not allowed.

Have a nice day :)
Thx for answer.

I am gating my kick (using the self osc filter) to shape the tail and bring out some transients. Same goes for the compressor. So I think that'is okay.

Awesome synth btw. So damn lush... :)

"Wondering if anyone else is having issues with the No 62 and Bassline Plugins with Logic 9.1.4? I cannot use them at all. There is no midi or audio output"
It does not really help but it is a bit reassuring to know I am not the only one. NoiseMaker & TAL effects work fine in both 32 & 64 bits .Weird.
Sent the message to the developer (Patrick), but not sure he has Logic so don't wait for a fix right away.

Just a couple of doubts.

·It would be allowed a Lofi-Decimator-Samplerater if i'm not crushing the original sound extremelly? I just want to add a tiny extra digital high artifacts. Something very subtle. Not reducing the bits, just the samplerate between 30 Khz and 44 Khz.
·It would be allowed a Lofi if it comes with a delay effect in it?

You decide.

Thanks and have a nice day :)

Yes no rule against that per se, but very easy to make the sound unrecognizable as you know.

Praise respected, but the welcome mat is out for constructive criticism (what did I do wrong, what could I have done?) :)

Cheers for the submissions so far. Interesting that LX in demo is more preferred over the 62 full version.

My track will be made with the free "62" :)

Mine too.
It is amazing how can you extract many sounds just from layering a noise, a square and a sawtooth as Tal-Uno-62 is all about.

Have a nice day :)

Started mine with the LX demo planning to render before I quit my daw, found it hard to commit and kept adding and adding without rendering, then my host crashed and I lost all my sounds I was very attached too. Tried to start over with the 62 and though it is impressive I got kind of spoiled by the LX so I decided to just buy it. Might give me an unfair advantage, but hell I need it against you guys! Been a struggle not overusing that chorus though...

Ahhh, you guys are making me jealous... too many projects going on right now, but OSC is at the back of my mind. Hope to make an entry or two this month.

Thanks to V'ger for providing a free option - I've played a bit with the 62 so far, nice simple classic sounding synth. Hope to check out the LX too when I get the chance.

I just want to know how far I can get with a real simple, but nevertheless good sounding synth. This track will be more a test for me for sound design than composition.
