mmmmm, really hoping my pre-order doesnt get cancelled or pushed out. Apparently they are only going to have 50% stock is what alot of retailers are saying, so some people's pre-orders have been cancelled by some places and others moved out to the summer, at least thats from the abe's forums. It also seemed to be alot of UK'ers reporting that so who knows the USA situation

How did you already get yours?

I am a certified trainer and will be doing some events for Ableton in the near future. That's the only reason I already have one. The more I play with it the more I really like it!Gymnopedies wrote:kenporter wrote:I am really getting warmed up to Push. It's missing a few features, but it's on Ableton's list. And what 2-3 things would you most like to see changed/improved?

I love the step sequencer function with drum racks. One of my favorite plugin is addictive drums and I created a group where I route a mapped drum racks to AD and I can use Push to step sequence the whole thing. Tons of fun.pdxindy wrote:What do you like the most?kenporter wrote:I am a certified trainer and will be doing some events for Ableton in the near future. That's the only reason I already have one. I would like to see being able to browse samples and clips on my hard drive or what I put in Places. At this point this can't be done, but I know it's on Ableton's list to do. The other thing I would like to see would be loading 3rd party plugins without having to put them into an effects or instrument rack. Also, for whatever reason arm/disarm can't be done yet. That all being said, the nice thing about Push is that the firmware can be upgraded via Live, and I actually just received an email a few days ago with an update already that addresses some of the previous "dislikes" I had. So, Ableton is working hard on it. I think it will be and to some extent already is the ultimate Live controller.
The built quality btw is fantastic and the fact that it can be bus powered is very impressive too!

Upgraded my Suite to Live 9, for the Max 4 Live inclusion, but all I get is crashes and hangs whenever trying to use Max
It wasn't this bad in the beta even, although I have upgraded to a more powerful PC - maybe it's too much
Push looks very interesting, but there's no way I'm pre-ordering with a 16-week wait. I'll maybe consider it when it's generally available;
What is it with March this year that everything is being announced ?? I already have no money to spend.

I admit, I haven't touched m4l. I thought it might be really cool when I bought suit but it looks like more than I'd need and there might be stability issues. Oh well, it's there for someday.

I've been using it continuously the last few days and not had a problem, even with stuff from the M4L site.

Same here no problems with M4L. I'm on Mac though, but either way it should still work.

just checking, did you also update your max version as well with the one from your user account? Not the m4l essentials pack but the actual max install? It changed from live 8 to 9
