I just thought that I should share it here.
If you need a sample browser for your wave files, the best option I ever saw is Crypton Mutant:

The page is in Japanese, but worry not, the software itself has English interface.
I think Crypton (or whoever) developed it for their own sample libraries, but it works with any wave samples.
It can show you BPM and key from acidized wave files. In addition you can add your own tags, categorize by instrument and genre. And of course it gives you quick search function. Probably the best sample browser I ever saw on PC.
