Yes it should have been this way forever, but now it's got 16 pads, including the multitouch panel, MPC style now.

To access the additional 8 sounds, you swipe left/right on a pad and it will switch.

Do the same in the mixer, to get to the additional 8 mixer channels, swipe left/right on a fader.
