-AutoAdjustMacroMappingRange
I think is the one, you can also add -EnableMapToSiblings, to give you the option to map the same value on a rack to the same macro for all siblings, i.e. map volume of all simpler's in a rack to the same macro knob at once

Probably soon and pricey as there will be a educacional discunt, like they said in their Facebook.VitaminD wrote:
The only thing that concerns me is pricing... they are still being quiet on price.. they already know what is going to be included in the product at version 1 (all on their homepage in screenshots), so why not release the price?
(PS:They should give me one to for routing so much info of their fb, hehehe)

Hopefully they work out for you I havent gotten to play with them much but from the video I saw I think the autoadjust is the one that might work. I was playing around with the -ShowDeviceSlots option so I went on a hunt for other useful ones out there. The -ShowDeviceSlots is pretty nifty too, turn it on, look on the right near the i/o and other buttons for a new button to enable disable, shows all the effects on a track but now on the mixer/clip strip up topgrymmjack wrote:ezelkow1 wrote:There is an option you can turn on in the options.txt that gets rid of this I believeAlienForce wrote:Yep. Could you tell me where the options.txt file is located (windows) I had a search in all the obvious places with no luck - thanksezelkow1 wrote: Hopefully they work out for you I havent gotten to play with them much but from the video I saw I think the autoadjust is the one that might work. Just forum posts on the abe's forums and google searchesgrymmjack wrote: Where did you find the information for this stuff?I'd love a complete listing of options to play with
As for where to put it, you have to create it yourself, options.txt does not exist until you make it. At least on windows it goes in C:\Users\YOURUSERNAMEHERE\AppData\Roaming\Ableton\Live 9.0.1\Preferences. I dont know about mac tho

Random question from someone who's never personally used anything like Push...
How (with all the various squares) do you remember what part is on what button if you were to use it in Live or BWS or similar? Can you tag the buttons or something or do you just have to remember what button plays what part?
Might be cool (in Ableton I suppose) if the name of the clip actually showed up on the button ... if it doesn't... and again, I have no clue either way. I do know my old brain might have some small difficulty sorting that out across X# of patterns and buttons to remember.
Thanks.

I love the mapping the way it's shown, especially directly assigning the macro range and not having the value snap to zero. These would be huge workflow improvements.
You can configure Live via the options.txt file to not snap to zero but stay on the existing parameter value.

I hate it when apps hide away options in obscure text files. If it's an option then put it in options/preferences. No wonder so few people know about this.garyboozy wrote:from here:grymmjack wrote:Where did you find the information for this stuff?I'd love a complete listing of options to play with

I'd love to see how the guys at bitwig will use Push to do their bidding
Push is for Live... It will not be doing for other hosts what it does for Live. Ableton just spent a huge amount of time re-writing Live in order to integrate with Push.

Indeed... that one is impressive and I have seen some others too which made my mouth water
