I am always enjoying your crystal clear production and composition. This track is maybe not THE Single best but there is nothing better this month and you earned so few votes I simply felt I had to do you justice. So, well deserved winner, Yeager!

This month I experienced a phenomenon. A whole bunch of track I didn't like at first listen that later on started to grow on me. This is one of those tracks. I wonder if it is related to Twin2. This is the best of 6 (!) good ones. Shades of Aphex Twin (sic!) in ambient mode. Very nice memories.

I was entertained by this track from the first second to the end. A lot of nice ideas, good production, quality sounds and great musicianship.

Here is another track with qualities I overheard at first. I am glad I came back after it earned some points. I had to check and was drawn in

• • I am observing that I tend to like the quieter tracks more than in other months. Is it Twin's characteristics or me growing a bit tired of certain styles after almost two years of OSC? Who knows.

How can one to come here to vote for 39 tracks? And with that quality, this month was stunning.
Although all tracks were so great, here comes my final votes.

  1) Dimtsak - Enter through the narrow gate - 5 Points
  Short, but beautiful. This is what moves me, i was imaginating a broken man below the rain, nostalgic moments, a lost love, something very sad. Precious instrumental piece, awesome chord progressions, nice melody. Well done, my 5 points for you, no doubt.
  
  2) Vortex - Breeze In the Forest - 4 Points
  A precious walk into an electronic forest. I want to believe that this is how a cyborg perceives the reality.
  
  3) Hennessey - bh9090-OSCFF5 - 3 Points
  I was between this one and OSCFF1, but this fits better with my actual mood. Chilling, relaxing, minimalistic. Well done.
  
  4) Skyzone - Skyzone - Evangelism - 2 Points
  Very Vangelisque, amazing intro, epic. I think this is the best track from Fabri so far. I'm glad that your clipping loudness almost dissapeared letting the sound breath a bit more.
  
  5) Szalonykp - Lonely Voyage - 1 Point
  Amazing track very well composed and mastered. Videogamish! Full of energy and that lead is the top notch this month. A bit short tough.

This was tough for me! I had a hard time trying to choose, there were so many talented entries.

Sovarozum - Hypercube (SCORE: 5)

Melodically I found this compelling. It was cinematic in a way and the intro was well done. I really enjoy the spacey sound of it almost as if it was straight out of a 80s sci-fi movie. I really like the detuned sound of the patches in this because it makes the sounds more organic and I appreciate those little touches.

Dimtsak - Enter through the narrow gate (SCORE: 4)

This is twin2? Very impressed with this track! I am a sucker for piano though. The introduction is incredible, the chorus or fill with the chords is interesting but not as moody and catchy as the intro part. The outro part was very well done just like the intro! Very nice melodic work!

Skyzone - That epic moment (SCORE: 3)

I liked this track, it had a ton of emotion in it. Totally reminded me of something from a movie or something and the emotion packed into it was excellent! Im guessing the song had something to do with sports, but I envisioned it more in a movie for the credits score.

Doc Jon - Zygosis (SCORE: 2)

Wow some excellent sound design work in here, I really like the rythym guitar and piano parts. The clicking rhythmic parts were cool too, along with the other synth parts! It was also mixed well.
I think this would be nice for a demo track for twin2 if it was a keyboard with a Demo button.

Z-Prime - Destined for more (SCORE: 1)

I really enjoy the opening of this track, it has anticipation in it and the into keeps you interested until it starts. All of the sounds in this track are solid considering they are coming from Twin2. The Dnb drums are a bit in the high frequencies but musically are compelling and arranged nicely. It seems a bit busy in some places and reminds me a bit of glitch mixed with Dnb which is a nice change.

Jasinski - Era of a good feeling

I enjoyed this track a lot, it has a electro funky house sound all over it. It is mixed really well and the drum and bass, pad sounds vibe well together. Im not so sure about the pluck sound but it still works pretty good. some parts the higher frequencies are a bit overwhelming to the point I almost want to turn it down, but they don't last through out the entire song.

Solidtrax - A feast of speed

Very intersting track, it reminded me of something Hybrid might make. It is slow and feels like half of the track is just the introduction, but this is all personal preference. Once it gets into the main groove it is catchy and arranged nicely. Makes you feel like you might be soaring through cyberspace like Neo from the Matrix.

szalonykp - Lonely voyage

I really liked the sound design in this, lots of this sounded like it could be used for a side scroller video game. Some parts are a bit bright in the higher frequencies but overall it is mixed nicely.

Photonic - Sparkling

Very cinematic sound! I was impressed with the drum sounds in the introduction and the pads that swirled in and out were excellent. For some reason the intro made me think maybe the song would be darker sounding, but it turned out interesting enough and had me listening. Once it got to the jazz part I thought that was cool, it was a bit bright sounding but nice none the less.
