A new version of Flx is now available
Almost completely rewritten, many new filter types, larger GUI,
nodes snap to zero, possibility to use alt or control to move in X or Y
direction only, and many more changes.
One note of warning: due to all these changes, the new version is
not compatible with the initial release. Please be careful opening
DAW projects that use the previous 2.8.5 version - you may want to
freeze or export those tracks first before updating.

This Flx is really crazy
The new GUI is great, and i'm glad TB eq got some GUI love too
I wish however to have an updated manual with a brief description of what each kind of filter do : the blind choice is hard, while playing with FLx.
Thanks, Jeroen !

I noticed the fonts are a bit bigger, I like it. I use Barricade and Isone.

...Dynamic EQ -- the good twin. Multiband compressor - the evil twin...
Please excuse my lack of knowledge here, but can some one briefly explain why I would want Dynamic EQ vs. Multiband or any other EQ, for that matter?
Thank you,
Jim

Wow! Fix is very much improved now! No more a nightmare to use. And the new auto-phase thing seems very intriguing indeed.
A few suggestions:
- Please add a diagonal line for the compressor section. It'd help for keeping an eye on the nodes that they are actually on the center line.
- Make-up gain changing the grid in the compressor section is confusing rather than helpful. It's clear enough with just looking at the makeup gain tab to see how much has been added. Again this has to do with the confusion of the center line (0dB, 0dB cordinates being quite clear but once you add make-up gain it becomes a lot more confusing when you mouse over a point).
- separate gain reduction meter for each bands compressor section would be awesome!
- It'd be awesome to have a global "amount" control so that you could reduce the effect of the plugin as a whole in one single place.
- .. and perhaps allow the "amount" % to go all the way to 200%?
- a larger GUI would also be awesome! It's cramming a lot of stuff in a tiny space. At least on a 1080p display.
This is becoming an absolutely amazing plugin. Some of the filters are incredibly fun to play with (brick wall filters being some of the brilliant additions! Having a lot of fun with the brickwall BPF!).
Instant purchase now for me. Awesome work Jeroen!
Cheers!

this is an awesome plugin!!!
many suggestions that have been made, are now available.
thanks jeroen for this absolutely amazing tool. i am slowly making myself familiar with the new toolset and options.
the bigger interface is really helpful and the colorcoding of the filters gives a good orientation.
why are you guys here asking for a gainreduction-meter???
you can see the amount of reduction for the chosen filter in the filterwindow clearly.
that is the actual gainreductionmeter!
if the filterline is not reacting, there is no gainchange taking place in the respective frequencyrange.
i would second the suggestion for a 0 db line for the transferfunction window, this would help a lot to keep a good overview, for the chosen compressioncurve.
another suggestion i have is, to make the softknee/beziercurve adjustable from to 0 to 100%.
many thanks for this superversatile eq/dynamics tool!
greetings,
mathias

FlX introduces large amount of crackles at a low latency BELOW 6ms (256 samples) - ie. 3ms etc.
Hope it'll be fixed...

I too got super high CPU activity loading just one instance of FLX on DP8 in mac, I also get crackles using module when synced to tempo, I noticed Reel Bus has a new volume control, yay
