I mean I really like it!

Although, I am wondering if I can get a similar vibe from FabFilter Pro C though... because, well I paid big money for it. It hurts to replace purchased stuff with free stuff. However it's just that the Release Peak function on the TDR is quite amazing IMO.

More TDR praise!

it's slightly different, version II has a much better thought out control scheme.

It's feedforward design right? I don't think you can do that with Pro-C. FF design is really nice

Indeed! This compressor is some seriously awesome piece of code! I like it a lot.

I never got the hang of the first version but this version 2 is much better and actually has a character which I find very usable as a "go-to" compressor for pretty much any task.

I do a fairly amount of parallel mixing so the latency is a fuss with my current DAW. (I can't believe that simple things like latency compensation would still mean trouble these days)

The CPU usage is a bit high atm (I guess it might get lower with the 1st release)

Great sounding compressor tho!

Really cool actually, also like the "delta" switch, peak crest feature and the RMS release time.
