Plugins for Linux

Hey, I am testing out the linux demo and I tried to install a plugin, I think it is a DSSI? i'm not sure which type of plugins to put into the linux version,

I am using Ubuntu

and I tried out XNekobee 0.1.7 and i put it in my Home Folder, created a Plugins folder, unpacked the folder

went into EnergyXT clicked plugins added the folder, and it doesn't show up

Any info on which types of plugins work, DSSI? or which kind, where to get them would be great! I really want to use EnergyXT because it looks great, but I don't know how to get plugins to work on it.

afaik eXT only supports VST.
There are some linux VSTs here there and everywhere, but not many. Maybe you can run DSSI and the like via JACK.
