I installed the DEMO version and it's cool that it works on my older MAC 10.5.8 - unfortunately the GUI window isn't resizable well to fit it on my MacBook screen, even when i select "tiny".

Hey
Perhaps try the preference to move the meters to the side of the graph rather than below it.
Setup>Layout>Meter Position>by Graph
This should give you more room. Also you can keep the bandstrips as text only (no knobs) and/or remove the band number labelling to make the plugin take up less height.
A fully resizeable graph (options for independent sizes for Horizontal and Vertical) has been talked about and may make it into an update
Cheers

ONE EQ TO RULE THEM ALL........imo.
Well, i can stop using any other eq now........seriously....like Compassion has done to me in terms of dynamics. Equality and Equick were already great, but Equilibrium has ALL the stuff i could ever want out of an eq which i felt were missing in those two.
AND IT SOUNDS FAN-TAS-TIC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm off to buy it.....
Thanks so much Dave and Krzystof (and everbody involved in creating and testing this mutha).....
Now, when you get around to it :
How about some tutorials for your insanely configurable and insane sounding plugins? Dave mentioned sometime ago that Krzys was doing some tutorials.

That rainbow thing aint in my version but I didnt like the look of it anyway. The actual spectrum is the same as in Equick which is way cooler.
Ah correction the actual thing in use is far better than it looks on the website.
It amazes me that if you guess something with this new EQ like oh what If it could do this by clicking here and the darn thing does what I wanted. Dave read my mind
For example double click on the graph makes a band which I already knew using Equick but where the knobs should be double click there and you get a band and knobs. Keep double clicking and more bands and knobs to go with them they all have the colour green on the on off switch and all are at the same freq so I thought wonder if that changes colour if I change the frequency of each and holy batman what a good idea I had and Dave already friken put it in :0

HOLY ****
32-bands, gorgeous interface that works perfectly smoothly, the keyboard view is freaking awesome.
this + max 4 live LFOs means I have all the modulated notch filters I could ever need!
congrats, and thanks Dave and Krzysztof for truly making the last software EQ I'll need

.. and you can create a new EQ band simply by double clicking on a specific key on the keyboard. Then you can send midi data to Equilibrium and have the eq band follow your synth line..gembez wrote:You forgot to say that it shows the notes being played on the keyboard! Wow!
Yeah, I told you this EQ was amazing!
Cheers!

AFAIK Image-Line was first with implementing the vertical energy bar readout thing into an EQ. Don't remember exactly when Fruity EQ2 was released but it's a LONG time ago.A_SN wrote:Seems great. I like the rainbow analyser thing, I wonder where they got the idea for that from.....

Does anyone on osx10.8.3/Retina have any idea about making the spectrum faster? I just turn it off for equick/equality, but that spectrograph, man how I wish I watch pretty colors all day long (almost comical my 4-yr old c2d mbp runs dmg stuff better...)
