Thanks very much Debra :tu:

(Be nice to hear some tracks one day)

It's good to hear the positive feedback. BUT,like mkdr's editor, this bank is only half baked. I've seen this happen all too often....."do the pre-buy and when when the FINISHED product is released you're entitled to it." Or "updates for life" or in your case..."if and when"....then it all vanishes in the ether.

If and when?? I'm sorry but I find that borderline insulting. Although I suppose that's better than an out right lie.

I'm not saying this will be be the case with either you or mkdr,(how about that MOPHO editor?), but there are MANY examples of this "business" model out there.

Finish your bank and I'll buy it.

i think you missed the point. Im not doing a pre order bullshit story....i added that my intention is to make a full bank at the end of my 'marketing spiel'. It quite clear that i am selling a soundset of 64 sounds. Many ppl sell sets of varying sizes, i see no problem with that.

its not even close to being part of a lie, its the absolute truth. IF i have time it will be finished, if i dont, it wont. I find your accusation insultion. All you need to do is read my original post, its pretty transparent.

im not a business (actually i am, but not related to this) this is just beer money

The bank is finished, the size is the only thing that may possibly change. I should add, if the bank does go up to 128 sounds, the price will reflect that, in line with current market prices. At the moment its not going to happen, time is tighter than a gnats chuff here.

Keep your money and spend it on something you can actually appreciate.

Thaks for the feedback :)

Thanks to the overnight buyers, files have just been sent out :tu:

My apologies Dave....I had just gotten badly burned by a dev,(who shall remain nameless), and I was in a really pissy mood....I'm sorry I took it out on you.

64 new sounds for the M-Audio Venom synth: Venom Bank Webpage

64 sounds in .SQS (Vyzex) and .TXT (VenomEd) format.
Soundbank is available for £7.99 GBP. All orders are handled manually. Orders are despatched after 5pm (GMT) weekdays, all day weekends.

ive kept the demos simple as possible. It can be off putting listening to genre specific demos as you may feel the sound will not fit your musical style. The reason i have made them simple is so you can concentrate on the sounds alone. IMO these sounds are usable in any genre.

PADS:

BASS:

SYNTH/LEADS

SYNTHS

MULTI SOUNDS

again, im still having audio problems so pops and clicks are still present. Not very professional i agree, but im working on it...still.

Venom Bank

please note: it is my intention to make a 'full' bank at some point, anyone who buys this set of 64 will be sent the full version free of charge if and when i complete it. (it will be sent to the email address used in your PayPal transaction)

To be honest, I was getting ready to toss my Venom for a Novation Ultranova until I heard your patches. I trust that doing business with the US isn't an issue?

Done and done, sir! Looking forward to the bank (and its future expansion). I'm an Ultravox and Vangelis fan. I like some of your close approximations in the bank. Tell you what, if you ever get two solo sounds down pat, I'll nominate you a Grammy Award:
1. Billy Currie's Arp Odyssey or Oscar
2. Vangelis' Blade Runner Yamaha CS-80 brass

:-)

there is a CS80 Brass preset in the bank (and one called 'runner') but its an approximation more than an accurate emulation. I seem to recall a preset in Oddity called Curries Bass, i'll have to look into the solo sound. I'll certainly have a go anyway.

thanks

Good luck. There's a of of material here on Currie's sound:

and on this KVR Audio forum

Obviously, I've been doing my own work to disappointing success. The closest I've seen with Vangelis is on the iOS app Sunrizer (someone provided a bank of vintage analog synth sounds: Elka, CS-80 etc.)

I'm starting to think I need to get hold of a big-ass pedal flanger like a Electro-Harmonix Deluxe Electric Mistress Flanger Pedal to get that screaming UV sound.
