It refuses description, allowing only the vague approach of adjectives: dark, light, raw, angelic. Who or what is making these noises? Where are they coming from and what do they point to? What kind of entity can leave such a troubling sonic remnant?

i'm still working on the knobs, the are made based on photos and nothing is from knobman or so..no vectors. the perspective is unfortunately not quite right, which makes it a bit more work to set the right center. (so it doesn't wobble)
i still need to double up the steps, until now there are 19 positions from 0 to maximum. unfortunately i dont' like the free chicken-knobs from knobman, i got accustomed to the present things and they make a lot of the look. when i started i knew "knobman" not yet. this is my first GUI and i see i've built a lot too complicated. but it is unique LOL
in the next few days i have not much time, but I'll hurry and hope the movement looks good in the end. i'm not yet quite sure
cheers

Hm. Sorry, haven't read the whole thread, so I hope I'm not walking a trodden path: You do know that with knobman, you can take any photo and make a knob from it (with more automatically generated steps than you'll ever need)? So you don't have to rely on the kind of images that knobman generates, you can use whatever photo of a hardware knob you have. The only thing that might get difficult is to get the correct lighting (although there is a lighting and shadow effect in knobman as well; whether you can get good results with it or not depends quite a bit on the image you're using).RefinedRough wrote:i'm still working on the knobs, the are made based on photos and nothing is from knobman or so..no vectors. the perspective is unfortunately not quite right, which makes it a bit more work to set the right center. Too candy coated for my taste...love the chicken head knobs though.....
Well they both have four wheels, a roof, a hood and trunk so yes I'd say to a point they do look the same.....audiovet wrote:not at all! If you say the Saturn car is grey and that Bentley car is grey. Does that imply they look the same??
Which is exactly my point about this GUI.......but I do love the chicken heads......audiovet wrote:The IK one looks cartoonish, without dimension, and childish.
