Interesting... reads like a PC groove-box... includes PSYN, Roland 101/606/808/909 sounds, ReWire client, target is dance & hip-hop... no idea if it'll accept other DXI synths (Synth1 & T2, for example) or not.

Not bad for $79.

crap info-page - you can preorder it for 79$ and it
includes Psyn, but they don't write if it comes as
dxi  (although I guess so)

Those were some of the most horrid demo tunes I've ever heard.

But you gotta start somewhere, right?

"Kinetic features 100%-genuine Roland® sounds from their genre-defining groove boxes and synthesizers"

Seems kinda strange a bloated juggernaut like Roand (I mean that respectfully, of course :P) would place it's vaulted pedigree behind an $80 product..

And I'm just getting in Fruityloops. I'll stick with that. Odd that a Cakewalk product wouldn't run as a DXi.

Hey, this is Carl Jacobson, Cakewalk's Marketing Director. I thought that I would jump in on this thread to answer some questions about Kinetic. I'll respond to the ones posted so far, and then check in over the next few days to answer any additional questions that come up.
