Re selling the kids.
I find that if I rotate axe's on a regular basis (I play at least two to three a day)I'm less inclined to want to unload them. It also helps if I try to work out a set list for each one. Even if it's some pathetically easy songs.
Dell Vostro i9 64GB Ram Windows 11 Pro, Cubase, Bitwig, Mixcraft Guitar Pod Go, Linntrument Nektar P1, Novation Launchpad

On a related note, once I get my head around it, I think I might try some fret leveling :hyper:

Here's a vid I saw

What I'm confused on is exactly which crowning file to get and where to get price wise. STUmac is EX PEN SIVE!!!!! I don't want to get anything that isn't exactly what I want. Maybe I should do a DIY thread, but I don't really want to go outside my comfort zone

I might be able to answer (or get answers to) some of your questions, but you'll have to keep in mind that fret files are something that I sell... so don't trust me. ;-)

Seriously, though, my business partner is a luthier and we sell to a lot of repair and luthier type people so I can at least get some answers and opinions for you from people who actually use these things frequently. That or I can point you to some forums where they hang out.
Surely there must be consensus by now...

I let my guitars tell me which one to play, but then I dont have set lists because I let the songs pick which one I'm going to play or work on :hihi: I chuckle but that is actually true, I may not be into a certain song at the time I am playing/working...if I'm not into a song it doesn't take me long to find another to play or work on...of course more often than not I just start something new. Just like I might pick up any of my guitars and I just dont feel them that day, no biggie because another one is right there waiting...same with amps

hibidy about your hands hurting, I hate to say this but maybe your love for ibbys are not helping. I noticed a bit of a change in how my left hand felt after the first few times playing mine. The neck is a little wider (but of course thinner) and I know you have mentioned you have smaller hands (I do as well)...maybe you might like the ESP/LTD neck. (I have felt the same kind of thing this week with the baritone, but no pain...just I can tell I have been playing the baritone if I play it after not playing it for a while)

I have decided that I am going to get a small 1x12 cab (maybe 2x12) and put it in my living room with The Egnater Rebel head on it just for exercising. I might as well now that I have two attenuators, I dont play enough just for the sake of playing (you know jamming to commercials on tv or jamming while listening to whatever).

Anyhow I wish you well with the pain, three years ago at this time I had terrible pain in my elbow, bought a brace, used that icy hot stuff and I thought my playing days were growing short but when we moved something happened because I noticed it stopped hurting after the move...but it's a scary feeling

I've heard that, I don't know if it's true.

IMO, they are not slot head screws.
It would be too difficult to get the height right.
Maybe they are bar with a slot in it,
which could be glued in.
I wonder what I want in here
-my site is gone and music a mess

I beg to differ, threads can indeed create perfection in height...in fact you idea with a metal bar and 4 machine screws = precision :tu:
