I'm not familiar with Mixcraft at all, I'll have to run a test and get back to you on this.fluffy_little_something wrote:I did it like in the second scenario, still I heard the Phonec sound as well when I used Phonec as an effect for a track. Only when I use it as an effect associated with a synth (i.e. I could save both synth sound and Phonec FX as one patch, regardless of tracks and projects), does Phonec itself not sound. Maybe this is a Mixcraft architecture thingy...

Don't bother, Mixcraft is not a very common DAW while its download is huge.jack [psychicmodulation] wrote:I'm not familiar with Mixcraft at all, I'll have to run a test and get back to you on this.fluffy_little_something wrote:I did it like in the second scenario, still I heard the Phonec sound as well when I used Phonec as an effect for a track. In Mulab it works perfectly

I'm an Ableton user as well, but have yet to use 9. Glad to hear it's working with no problems.KungKrille wrote:I just tried the Phonec FX demo on a track in Ableton Live 9. It was added after the Electric synth and it worked as intended. The audio went through with no sound from the oscs. Only echoes and the melt effect was applied

Due to several requests, I'm going to extend the 40% Synth Bundle discount for another week. So the sale will end on Sunday, April 7th.

Just a reminder, today is the last day to get Phonec bundled with all the other Psychic Modulation synths with the 40% discount.jack [psychicmodulation] wrote:Due to several requests, I'm going to extend the 40% Synth Bundle discount for another week. So the sale will end on Sunday, April 7th.

I can now get it to work as an effect, but in FL STudio I must avoid using the presets, otherwise it becomes silent.

One can get sounds out of it that are not exactly typical of SE VA synths
Like this bass I just programmed, a bit reminiscent of some old DX7 basses if I am not mistaken:

Sounds great! If you want I can include it in the patchbank I'm working on.fluffy_little_something wrote:One can get sounds out of it that are not exactly typical of SE VA synthsLike this bass I just programmed, a bit reminiscent of some old DX7 basses if I am not mistaken:

I uploaded the fxp file:
https://www.box.com/s/gvdd5vl4td1lgib2uv2a
It is very similar to the one in the audio file before, but I had forgotten to save the preset after changing it and recording the little part
So it is not exactly the same, but almost...
The bass is pretty deep, so I used the HP filter on a bass

I've created a new bank of 128 patches for Phonec consisting of pianos, brass, reeds, strings, and other organic, melodic sounds. Here's a track I made using only sounds from this patchbank: http://soundcloud.com/phonogeist/mirage
Download the patchbank here: ORGANICS
Enjoy!
