Wonder whether my advice worth a penny? Check my music at Soundcloud and decide for yourself.

Give G-Stomper a try. It's an Electribe like 11-Track Drum Machine (for Android) with a powerful effect chain (4 processors, 22 effect types). Live Pattern Arranger, Song Mode, Motion Sequencing, Audio import/export, SoundCloud integration, and much more. Available at google market (free demo and full (paid) version).

Just wish it wasn't so hard to use. I bought this and although it probably is quite amazing, it's so cluttered that I cannot use it.planeth wrote:Give G-Stomper a try. Could you perhaps make it look a little nicer - it needs a skin overhaul as well.

Thanks for your feedback. I agree with you, that there are some gui issues, yes. And its definitely on my task list to redesign it some day.Karmacomposer wrote:Just wish it wasn't so hard to use. But you must see, G-Stomper is no DAW, it's a Drum Machine, designed to play live stuff...like on hardware. So as much as possible has to be accessible on one screen. Every screen change makes you slower in playing the instrument. What would you say if your 909 requires a screen change when changing the swing settings?
In some cases It would be much simpler to have 10 different screens on top of each other (e.g. changable by swiping top down), but it would destroy its ability to be played live.

which is the best android based tablet on the market at the moment or being released very soon.Snoo wrote:Anybody here making music with Android tablets?
I'm looking to get back into a live music project with some friends. Previously I'd been using hardware samplers/ kaos pad and synth. But this time around I'm thinking of using an android tablet. Trouble is I'm a little in the dark. Are there specific spec's/ software builds I should be using to ensure things run smoothly? And how do you generally hook up a tablet in a live setting (to a DI box). Bearing in mind my budget is small I may be looking at 2nd hand tablets also.
Any bits of advice would be greatly appreciated.
im looking at the Xoom and Galaxy at the moment but if there is a better one out there please recommend (as long as it is android)
