EXT2 was supported like my other fav, Mutable instruments...

I should stop bellyaching but it's hard when the other group has a post up today about how to update the homepage.

Discouraging, but I'm not giving up on EXT2. I really don't know of a faster, smaller or more versatile program for the money.

Can't wait for further updates. Keep me in mind for serious beta testing, Jorgan ;)

Here are this week's suggestions:

Hook up with a nice custom HID shell like ctrl.

Expand marker hot keys to more than 1 - 10.

Add a resizable and floatable clock.

Add a "X" out button to the browser panel.

Thanks in advance,

Best regards...

Just looked up progress and it looks like alot of stuff which has been suggested on the things to come site are shifted from under consideration to planned. Even though they are not the things I am hoping for, they are improvements none the less so Thanks Jorgen! Keep up the good work!

You mean the ideas posted at the energyXT feedback forum (http://energyxt.uservoice.com/forums/31359-coming-next)?
I didn't see any changes there for a long time...
All the planned stuff there was set to planned at least one year ago, as far as I can tell.

Please set a date for next beta release and allow muting of midi events by toggling assignable mute buttons in sequencer

Perhaps it seems vain to you other members to make request and hope another beta comes around, but I remember a long silence between the last update and the previous one. Besides, how does giving up on it encourage the author to write any more. :!:

It doesn't, but from previous experiences, don't hold your breath for anything from XT2 dev team, work with what you have and hope for the best.

^This. Fortunately, "what you have" is an amazing piece of software. Even if updates stop this very moment I can see myself happily using XT for years.

Studio One - has its faults.

FLStudio - has its faults.

Logic Pro - has more than its share of faults.

Cubase - are you kidding me?

Ableton - It's good, but.. it has its faults..

Podium - Uh, it's great, just need to readjust to set my VST folder...

Reaper - One of the best, if not the best..

Energy XT2 - Super fast at loading up, rock solid stable, what's not to not like?

When all is said and done, if you know what you are doing you can get a track knocked up and finished in EXT2 quicker than the rest of the shower of shit.

I hate to say it, but even if development stopped tomorrow, and it seems to have stopped yesterday, it would still be better than the rest of this overpriced, overbloated, over-rated crap.

Such vain love, full of youthful indiscretion - energy xt we love you...

One day...

We have our shirts ironed. They say 'XT' on the sleeve.

Let us stamp our feet once more.

Just give us a reason to believe..

We forgive you...
