I just sent an email and deleted the links for the patches and the audio demos. Maybe they will be reposted after i got an answer but that's not sure.I can maybe understand that he wants to sell his patch book with his sounds, but why insist on taking down examples of replicas of the sounds. Sad.
I clearly permitted the use of the Minimoog Classics V2.0 Patch Charts as reference for the Monark Presets and charged not a single cent.
Ingo simply purchased the spiral-binding book and everything is fine.
Sad is that someone scanned the book, did a PDF and uploaded it to a download site. Thanks to Ingo for the report.
many thanks for posting here. I could confirm everything you wrote. As aleady mentioned here i just asked you again to be sure i understood you right and i could really re-post the links.
The link i reported seems to be different to the one where i got the PDFs from but as mentioned that was too long ago to remember the source.
I have deleted all copies i had from those PDFs.

Wow, are you the same guy that got booted out a couple of weeks ago for going crazy in the forum and hassling the mods with messages? What's with all the smiley faces now then?TheoM wrote:huh?
nope, following a topic linearly is the way i prefer it..
so for balance, keep doing it this way Ingo
Certainly nothing wrong with this topic at all IMO or how you are posting in it

Hi Theo,TheoM wrote:May i ask, what ARE the factory patches like? there seems to be a few hundred according to the specs.. are we talking great quality? obviously all bass, lead and sfx since monophonic?Ingonator wrote:I just had a look at the factory sounds of Monark again. There are around 4 patches with comparable names to those included with this bank but the patches seem to be slightly different.
In Arturia Minimoog there seem to be some of those included (at least those from the smaller patch book), mostly with the additional banks (e.g. by J.M. Blanchet).

Anyone else care to chime in re factory sounds?
to be honest i have not listened to all factory presets yet but those i tested seemed to be nice. Several of those also use the additional features like filter overload, Feedback/drive and different filter modes (MM = LP4, LP2, LP1, BP). All those filters seem to be based on the Moog design where the 24dB/oct filter (called "MM") is the "classic" Minimoog filter with 24dB/oct.
Categories of the factory presets are Bass (128 patches), Lead (80 patches), Classic (85 patches), Perc/Seq (48 patches) and FX (43 patches). All together 384.

Has anyone found a way to add velocity response?
So weird that they added different filter types (so not authentic!) yet kept the keyboard from having any velocity response.

I guess they want you to twiddle the knobs while it plays, like they did back in the day. Which is cool and all because it forces that aesthetic where the dynamics come from the knob twiddling, though I have to admit I'd prefer it if they added at least velocity to filter envelope.Echoes in the Attic wrote:Has anyone found a way to add velocity response?

Maybe in an upgrade or user patch

It's Reaktor - vel and AT (or even other modulation sources such as LFOs) can be all be added (if you have the full version)

I gave Theo the time off, and I'm trying to work with him so things will go better this time. I appreciate the effort he's putting into staying on an even keel, and would appreciate it if others don't try rocking the boat.Numanoid wrote:[...]
Back to music and software now. Thanks.
