I tried using the Silent Way demo for the first time last night. I have the 5.1 surround configuration going in Cubase 7, and it looks correct. Lynx Aurora 8 (channels 3->8). All 6 channels show full signal when I press a key (2 clip).
I'm waiting on properly made TRS->TT cables, so am using some Y cables I already have and plugging the Tip side into the modular components. Hopefully that is the correct way.
I'm getting audio back in on the monitor and "synth in" channel. Pitch is being sent when I play my MIDI keyboard. So, the OSC is tracking pitch via Out-3 on my Aurora. Working as expected.
Now we get to the problem/question.
I have Out-4 (gate) going to the Q109 EG gate, but it does not trigger. There is signal going to the gate though. The spec says the gate threshold on the 109 is 1.5V. It looks like you can only set gate level to 1V in Voice. Is that correct?
FYI, I'm really impressed with your plug! I have no idea how I missed its existence. This was my first attempt at setup, so I'm assuming I'm just being a newb idiot.
Gate to Q109

The maximum setting of +1.0 in the Voice Controller means 100% of the output level of your audio interface, whatever that is. You could estimate that from the number of octaves of pitch control you have.It looks like you can only set gate level to 1V in Voice. Is that correct?

lol, ok. That's pretty obvious now that you say it. I wonder why it isn't triggering? hmm...os wrote:The maximum setting of +1.0 in the Voice Controller means 100% of the output level of your audio interface, whatever that is.
