50 years after now we will be listening Dub Step, and we will be telling to our grandsons: "This was good vintage music in my times, stop that noisy crap you are listening right now." LOL
So guess what "music" will they be listening in the future, oh lord...

kinda influenced by the fact that i don't think my entry is gonna be quite 'future' enough , i reckon things might not be so different

i think things will keep going in circles...the future i was bought up on through movies like brazil and bladerunner is almost defiantly human....the contrast of such high tech with such retro infrastructure etc kinda suggests that we humans may try to hold onto everything that distinguishes us from the cold sterile world we are heading for....

i think things like music will be one of those things that we fight to hold onto....as current music become mor bass and more bleep, the likes of jazz, classical and rock will be treasured....

remember, also that there will always be some kinda counter-culture of youth rebelling against the perceived norms of their peers/generation

with that said, maybe this is the easiest challenge as any, and all, types of music will be still being made 50 years from now....time to buy a mandolin
