Renoise, fl studio pattern sequencer is somehow simillar to trackers way of work...

It may not be ideal to your style of music, you should check out NI Maschine. Go to your local Guitar Center and check it out, they usually have one out that you can play with. I love it than again, I make hiphop and not trailer music.
