"wrong" Donkey Tugger
Always the bomb. Love the bass line and the intro. A lot of your songs have a whiff of melancholy. And you seem such a likely lad. Feck it, prolly the key.

What are the vocals bits from? I know this is the song that will appeal to my six-year-old the most! He likes the word "ass" though we won't let him use it - 'cept when he's talking about Shrek's sidekick. Oh but he's a wily one. The d'n'b freakout is a good idea. Notch up the randomness and throw in some more efx and you'd pass as DJ Spooky on a bender.

That weird synth noise sounds like a cross between one of my cicadas and a cat! The rest is good - maybe a bit like background music in one of them computer games.

"Odd" Thomas Christensen
I always enjoy your songs and this doesn't disappoint. A little Mouse on Mars this one... As far as time sig: Is it something like 4/15? I know it's odd but it sounds quite comfortable. Great timbres BTW - very cool noises - especially, well, especially all of them! It's the most synthetic sounding track that I've heard by you. Usually they seem to have more acoustic sounds but I really like the feel of this.

Of course the cello is terrific and I feel it's out of my league to even comment on your performance but it sounds darn near perfect to me (very liquid) so let me address the recording. The production sounds great. The rhythm loop is really nice, did you assemble it from scratch? It's got a great early 90's feel - it's that tamb. My only criticism is that I think the song structure needs some kind of hook - beside the rhythm track. Something that simmers to the top a few times during the course of the song and makes you remember the tune after listening to the rest of the entries.

"sunk" Eric Bourne
Really nice theatric opening and sounds. if you haven't heard "Chesh" by The Black Dog - go find a copy of Spanners and listen to it right now. I think you will be very surprised. If you have heard it then you know what this songs needs? Better drums. Yours are OK, but they're too regular. Give the 808 a rest and find some interesting sounds that compliment the harps and pads.

There's a lot of good things I can say about your guitar part and vocals but the keyboard and drum loops have issues. They key loop (the first one you hear) doesn't loop seamlessly. After the other instruments come in, it's not as noticeable but when it first loops back as the guitar comes in - it's jarring. I hear clicks. The drums are too eager and in your face. Turn down those cymbals and EQ some bottom into the toms.

"Witchcraft" Emerald Tablet
Nice reverb. I have a few old Hafler Trio albums with that song on them :D. You sang this so differently than I would have. Well, number 1) I wouldn't attempt to sing and number 2) I don't have the compunction to do songs about witchcraft or lovey-dovey stuff. But I will say you can pull it off. It's actually a bit medieval microtonal sounding when you finally start singing near the end. Do you mind if I share my corrupted version of your lyric for the rest of the gang?

 - Just a touch of the old melancholy the ladies love it! :hihi:

OK. Downloaded all entries to date and started listening. I will start to write some comments in whatever order they are playing now.

Michael Norrel - miss phat booty
Not often that I say this. This is not in my range of liking by far, sorry man.

Mystahr - Mud dancing
I like this one. The sounds and beats keep on changing subtly. The production is great for this kind of song.

Andreas Erhard - Chamber
Great composition. The sound balance between the solo violins and the electric piano is a bit wrong. Good strings orchestration. It would be great if you would use alternative small chamber ensembles like viola, cello and some wooswind solo (oboe or flute) to round off the chamber orchestration.

Beardedone - Solaz
Very recognisable sound. One one person in the world that can create that sound. Great song again. Great piano playing and great orchestration with the brass. Love the percussion even the most. GREAT

Donkey Tugger - Wrong
Anoter great DT song. The U2 style guitars are well done. Nice.

Duncan Parsons - InDecision
Great song. The percussion becomes a bit robotic. Maybe the overpowering snare sound. Great variation in the song all around, but does not sound like it actually reaches some conclusion.
