Thanks !
(yes, 29$ is really more affordable than 49€+vat)

I am a bit surprised by the new GUI, i seems there is a lot of blank space : is it because it is in beta, and this space will be filled with new features, or is it on purpose ?
Your previous plugins had such perfect GUIs ;)

ALso sorry for nitpicking, but isn't it strange there is no full-size screenshot on your website ? I couldn't find any :?:

Cool, I'll check it out when I get home.

As for the introduction price, I've decided to make a €29 offer as long as the plugin is in beta!
I will put this up ASAP, all people who already have a license will be refunded the difference when the new offer is live!
Hope this helps some of you on your decision! ;-)

one little suggestion...

My Goats agree too. They've bullied me into a purchase - once you start digging into the sound engine it does feel very good though, so I think they may be right... :)

Ok, the offer is live now... refunds are issued.

Notes to buyers:

- All future Drumatic 4.x updates are free of charge.
- Improvements are coming up, specially GUI changes!
- I'll try to preserve the patch setting as much as possible so you can build useful patched already.

- The registration system is a bit picky. It will generate a registry key (.reg file), you'll need to run it. (double click) If you have any troubles, just let me know!

Thanks!
PJ

The GUI will be updated in the upcoming releases.

To be honest, I've been struggling quite a lot with the GUI. I think the sound is good but the gui needs some work. This is GUI #4. Sometimes you have been working on something too long and just don't see what's wrong anymore. ;-)

I'd love to get some feedback on what you like so I can make the proper adjustments...

It looks a bit empty... If you can't fill in the pages with features, maybe you could make the elements bigger? I liked the old Drumatic GUI more...

Ok, I ran the reg key and it created an entry, but the plugin still says unregistered and the noise bursts still occur.

Regarding the GUI, I reckon you could squeeze the controls into 6 permanently displayed columns, with the envelope display below (which switches according to the selected column) and then the keyboard/fx/velocity at the bottom. Obviously you'd need to have smaller buttons for selecting tone, noise 1 and 2 within each column. Hopefully that makes sense.

I'd love for some prev/next arrows for tone and noisetype. Scrolling is ok though.

What's the difference between Trig and Hihat? (envelope setting)

If you can fit everything into one window that would be nice. Especially Tone/Noise1/Noise2. My hand is killing me going back and forth :(

I love the sound of this! Easy to make lovely drumsounds :D Will buy within the next few days. I've promised myself to really try the demo before i do any purchases haha. Though this is a bargain!

great news, buying asap.
I think that's not a steep price at all for the one who gave us drumatic3, VE, retrodelay and lo-fi.

great demos.
oh, and yes drumatic3 and VE have those small knobs making them hard to finetune.
some workaround like a reader would be sweet.

Hi
Only my 2 cents and personal taste.
Your beta GUI is not bad, it is even rather good. But, to me, your previous GUI were just *great* :)

My concern with this one is mostly that i have the impression it didn't find yet the right balance :
- balance between vintage/retro and modern ;
- balance between full of parameters and many empty spaces ;
- balance between both "too big" and "tabbed" : i don't have a problem with big GUIs if they aren't tabbed, but i don't see the point with having both tabs and big GUI and many empty spaces.

Drumatic2 was compact, modern, just great.
Your delay plugin and the other drum machine was retro, compact, jsut great.
This one is a bit too much in-between but still hasn't found his comfortable place yet (imho), heistating with wooden panels and graphic envelopes, rocker swtiches and modern tabs, etc.

Once again, my 2 cents only, the GUI is already Ok, i'm glad E-phonic is back and alive using Juce, so i am expecting great things :D
