No, i think you understood it right Bronto! However, unless i missheard, you can't do that with the Keys synth. If you play, record live or sequence via midi live you can use it with polyphony, but if you use step recording it's just one note/voice per step. Maybe would be kind of obvious with six voice low cost synth

I've been looking for an analogue drum machine, so the Volca Beats has me quite excited.

Well, well! The bass edition has the filter from the Krog Mini700! That's a pleasant surprise. Although the one in the 700 has a LP and HP. Still, it's a nice touch.

The rep on the above video is wrong the volca bass doesn't have a MS20 filter it has a vintage Korg 700 filter

I don't think you're right about that.. are you certain ?CANE CREEK wrote:The rep on the above video is wrong the volca bass doesn't have a MS20 filter it has a vintage Korg 700 filter
From the videos in the thread here, the keys model definitely has the vintage Korg 700 filter. if i recall correctly, the rep in first video mentioned that the original 303 had an 18db filter, whereas the korg one is 12db ... the lowpass filter on the ms20 is also 12db if i'm not mistaken. so the other rep who says it's the ms20 filter, is probably right ?
at keys model is the only one I recall that has the korg700 filter.
someone correct me if I'm wrong

These 3 little boxes look cool i'm more interested in the Bass synth though however at those prices i'm sure most will just go for the bundle.
