I don't buy sample libraries anymore since they have pops/clicks.
They even have distortion built into the samples.

I know that on TV and films you see people clean up noisy, distorted audio but I don't think it's possible or at least not as good as you see on TV. They sharpen images and video, create really close up clean images out of a bad photo and I know this isn't possible, as with audio you can't bring back pixels / frequencies that weren't in the original file.

Why? Its a library full of guitars where distortion has been applied as a deliberate effect, but its hardly proof that all libraries have significant unintended distortion.

Again, you're posting stuff with no meaning. If you want to associate a meaning with that, and have us understand it, then you have to explain yourself a bit better.
