is there anything from NI that shows Monark is to be followed up or acts as a template? Would be cool to see a Prophet seeing as Urs does not want to put one in Diva (which tbh Id prefer)...

Nothing specific, but it is a change from the development of entirely new plugins like Massive, in that they could have gone the Massive route but chose to go the Reaktor route as they did with quite a few new recent synths.

What I meant is that as Monark seems to be an emulation of a somewhat specific piece of hardware, then I assume that any new emulations would follow the pattern.

I love prodigius isn't that based on a prophet? was the pro 53 as good or better than that? If so why not just leave it as it was in the collection. Why ever take something decent out of the collection if its stable and already developed? Does not make any sense perhaps they just did not want to get shown up by a free ware synth and took it off the market. Just saying maybe that was it but hey I don't even know because I never got to try it which is really making me PO.

Memorymoon's cheap vsti called messiah has a demo that is real cool after I get rich and buy every synth I will snag that just because it was so cool of the dev. to put that demo out so I could check it out and it just sounds really good and its a prophet clone as well. Guess when I get all the arturia stuff I can try that one also.

I'm just assuming NI's future corporate decisions are going to be made based on the user base's response to the model. Monark could have been just as easily produced by U-he using components already available inside DIVA.

How much more are we going to ask DIVA to add? He has just announced a free supersaw addition to a semi modular already packing far more components (filters and OSCs) than most other VSTI. Pricewise DIVA is an incredible value.

You're saying MuLab can run as a VST plugin? Really?
Set Theory claim:
"In some cases there is an object called red that contains everything that is red. In much the same way a pot is a plate.
Red is Red and anything that is Red is an object, a class in itself or a real thing if you prefer"

I lost track of the tread!
No, Mulab can not be used as a VST

Fixed.

Monark in Reaktor isn't any worse than Diva on my rig.

yeah except that Monark is a mono synth (unless one edits the ensemble).

It is a cpu hog for a mono synth, also its an additional hassle simply having to load reaktor, then an ensemble, at least when already working with a dozen vstis and hundreds of effects, any extra steps add up.

The moog OSC's in diva are good, but sorry, I don't agree, the filter feedback, and the addtional "load" parameter in Monark make it sound much more authentic.

I find that making a track template for each ensemble I frequently use saves me the hassle of having to load Reaktor, then load the ensemble within Reaktor.
Even if the piano player can't play, keep the party going.

Exactly. Track Templates are the definite way to use favorite Reaktor patches inside a DAW.

In Studio One (and I'm sure many other daws) a ensemble in reaktor can be loaded up as a DAW Preset. So sure there's several workarounds to speed things up.

While I'm happy to use monark, I don't think its wise to encourage the ensemble format in which it's delivered in (although great for tweakers).

I honestly think its a minimalist and not a very professional move towards NI's customers to have to mess with ensembles or those horrid GuitarRig plugs, as solid mix series used to be...

Again, glad I can use monark, but it just seems NI is cutting off corners, and I'm not the only one I've seen that hasn't appreciated it.

Who knows, maybe they were waiting on threads like this to appear before finalizing an upcoming standalone version.
