Yep, I'll definitely take care of that for the next update.

Yep, good point. However, in this case 1/16th refers to the length of a step in the gater's internal sequencer, ie. it spends 1/16th step on, then 1/16th step off, and so on. It will make more sense in a coming update when I expand the effect with a programmable step sequencer.

Fair argument! I will add it back later :)

Which OS are you running, which host, which version of Glitch, etc? I am warping the mouse cursor to allow for endless movement without hitting the screen edges, but the cursor itself should be hidden during any drag operations. If you're seeing the cursor warping around like crazy, I can agree this would be annoying as hell!

There's mousewheel support on other controls like the dropdown menus and value boxes, but not on the rotary knobs. What do you imagine it should do: big adjustments or adjustments?

You can already Ctrl + drag for finer knob adjustments, and you can also click the value text below the knob itself to manually input an exact value. Hopefully this is enough to satisfy most OCD parameter setters :)

Thanks for the feedback!

Win7. 64bit, 32bit Glitch version 2.00, FL Studio 10
Instead of being hidden, it repeats itself once the cursor wants to go beyond the parameter area, not a really big deal tho... but it doesn't look that nice.
...or it may be a special feature of ...Glitch :hihi:
..........
mouse wheel support for parameters for a normal to big value adjustments, for quick setups.

regarding the parameters not staying properly between scenes. At the moment the tape stop module appears to be sharing settings at every scene. so if I edit one it edits them all.

edit: it only appears to change the settings of scenes lower in the list. It also is kind of random how it affects them. It seems like if their is a blank scene between the scene you are editing and the next lowest on the list that has an active sequence it will not affect anything. I dunno. odd bug. or maybe I am doing something wrong?

I'm finding that Glitch plays out of sync unless you start playback directly on the bar in either Cubase or Logic Pro. In comparison, v1 would always since to tempo regardless of where you started playback and the effect would always play at the right time.

Can you please explain why this is the case on v2? Can it be made to act the same way as v1 as that was more logical and less troublesome in my personal opinion :)

Thanks heaps!

Does this always happen, or only once after first loading the plugin?

There is a little quirk that I'm aware of and will fix later. Basically, when you first load the plugin, its internal transport will be offset by whatever time you're currently at in your DAW. But it should reset itself after playing your song from the start at least once, and then should remain in sync after that.

Alternatively, triggering a scene via its MIDI note will always reset the internal sequencer back to the beginning, so you can just throw some notes down on a track at the desired points in time in order to re-sync the sequencer. This is handy if you want to do stuff like reset the sequencer half-way through playing, which was never possible in Glitch 1.

I'm afraid this happens after initial load too. It's extremely easy to reproduce here in Logic Pro 9.1.8.

1. Insert Glitch on master of a track
2. Play from bar 1 beat 1, Glitch appears to be in sync
3. Seek anywhere in the track that isn't exactly on a beat
4. Issue occurs

Another little problem I'm noticing is that the timing on the Gater always seems a tad off in v2 to my ears, even when I start playback perfectly on the bar it feels like the Gater is a tiny bit slow.

Please let me know if you need any more info. Can you reproduce this?

I'll try to check this out later at Renoise HQ, since I don't have a Mac at home.

Thanks mate, more than happy to provide further info and/or a video demonstration if needed. Just let me know :)

Demoing. As awesome as this is there's a danger I'd just keep looping stuff to feed into it and then just keep tweaking forever.

Dangerous.
