Isn't there already a thread for this?:

I dunno, wouldn't it be more logical to post such issues in the release thread started by the developer?bobsled wrote:I don't see anything in that thread about problems downloading.

Why do you feel this constant compulsion to play Forum Police ?Numanoid wrote: I dunno, wouldn't it be more logical to post such issues in the release thread started by the developer?

Why do you pick on me for that?Teksonik wrote:Why do you feel this constant compulsion to play Forum Police ?Numanoid wrote: I dunno, wouldn't it be more logical to post such issues in the release thread started by the developer?
I don't see you accusing Evil Dragon of being Forum Police for telling a user here to have posted in the wrong sub-forum: http://www.kvraudio.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=379235
For me it's more logical to continue a thread started by the developer, also about problems with that particular release. It's probably bigger chance to get help from the developer that way, as he most def subscribes to be notified about postings in that thread.

Because you seem to do it a lot and it's annoying.......Numanoid wrote: Why do you pick on me for that?

It's pretty easy to get annoyed browsing the KVR forum that's trueTeksonik wrote:Because you seem to do it a lot and it's annoying.......
But if you get annoyed you need to do what users tell me to do and that is to: Ignore it

Wow the Irony Meter is off the scale.......you mean ignore it just like you should have ignored bobsled's thread instead of taking it upon yourself to play net nanny and tell him where to post ?Numanoid wrote: But if you get annoyed you need to do what users tell me to do and that is to: Ignore it

As I said George responds quickly when posting in threads he has started for his instruments.
Therefore if the OP wants to get help about fixing the issue, posting the problem in the thread started by George about Discovery will I believe lead to him getting help quicker:

We had some reports of users not being able to download. It seems a DNS issue so I'd recommend waiting 24-48 hours.

Because you didn't have an answer to the OP's question and just wanted to play Forum Police....again.Numanoid wrote:Why should I ignore it?
Ooooh look George has responded quickly in this thread so there goes your theory out the window. Problem solved......Numanoid wrote:As I said George responds quickly when posting in threads he has started for his instruments.

Thank you, George. I was able to download the file from another location as per your suggestion. I appreciate your patience in this matter, as well as the generous upgrade price for Discovery Pro that you offer all your customers.George wrote:We had some reports of users not being able to download. I could have perhaps chosen a better subject line for this topic. I was interested in finding out why I was having a problem downloading from your site so that I would not have the same problem in the future.
btw 'sup teksonic? Nice to see you're still around.
