1. Jasinski - Squirrel Assassin (5pts)
Very strong progressions and melodies. Intense transitions and variations. Skin pounding excitement! Killer riffs! My brain felt like it had been hit by a hollow-point-bullet… that damn squirrel!!!
Note: If not for my questionable personal policy of only giving one vote per artist 'Rain or Tears' would have also placed top five. Wonderful emotion in that piece.

2. Bumtu - Muted Repose (4pts)
Every sound seems so perfectly balanced and placed. Really love the slow hypnotizing rhythm. The sonic craftsmanship is remarkable, but beneath the dazzling sounds is a deep soul.

3. Nahkaorava - They All Lie (3pts)
Great take no prisoners attitude to this track. Kick ass bass, percussion and leads. Thank you sir may I have another!?

4. Bjporter - U-NO The Answer (2pts)
The rhythm sounds, groove, and progression is so tight in this song, but what really sets it over the top for me is that incredible lead sound that comes in during the first break. Has an amazing organic, ancient and timeless quality to it.

5. marks-a-whybikky - Unknown Nibbling Object (1pt)
Great song and sounds. Nice dynamic mix and interesting arrangement. Love the interplay between the bass and lead. Lots of stuff going on but never feels overly busy or cluttered. A really great listen.
