Impatience really has nothing to do with it imho. I think it's completely fair game to make jokes about how long it's taking. I can completely understand someone being ticked about it too. Maybe not the healthiest, but I completely understand.

Right, it's nothing personal.

Those guys obviously have skills and whenever they release the thing many people will certainly love it. It's all just in fun really.

The most interesting thing is how there are these "daw wars" going on all around it already ("better than this or that") and nobody has even used it yet.

Whenever they do release the thing it's there's gonna be WW3, nuclear war, between it and Ableton.

There is one guy on the abe's forum that claims to have it. Have no idea if it's for real or not.

I'm into live and studio one with a dash of reaper. I'm learning not to care about anything else. DP for win and bitwig are allegedly coming someday, I'm sticking to what I have more than likely.

I know, everyone thinks I'll be jumping on it asap but I don't think so since they don't like cats!

I wouldn't be surprised if the Bitwig Beta for users comes with a default Ableton skin

Not all NDA's are created equal. Some actually do directly allow you to mention participation in a beta program but all prohibit discussing features or bugs. But some do allow you to say "Yep, I'm a beta tester." ... but nothing else.

Yeah, I mean why do that, and why now? The resemblance is far more than passing.

Either it's a rather mediocre joke or they're preparing for the copyright trial over 'look and feel' by making Live look as much like Bitwig as they can before the latter releases. I'm guessing the second.

Guys...disco skin (it isn't called like that though...i think) was available for years before Bitwig was announced..Something similar and almost same exist in Live 8 skin library.
