I designed and built it myself, but the basic rig can be had from Mack Baily Enterprises at easychairworkstation.com. Mack's a great guy helping disabled people and people who don't want to become disabled. Tell him I sent yatrimph1 wrote:![]()

A reorg dedicated to ergonomics... tho some things became less ergonomic, for the most part it's been a good move.
...and there's a wee bit of space left over for a little beastie that's incoming.

like the beyers, like the foot pedals on the table (I do that too)...but the mixer from the pic looks like some overkill...I assume it's for mixing fx mostly?polyslax wrote:

The highest form of knowledge is empathy, for it requires us to suspend our egos and live in another's world. It requires profound, purpose‐larger‐than‐the‐self kind of understanding.

Hey Hink. The mixer is a firewire deal, so I can mix/eq my itb channels as well as external inputs.Hink wrote:like the beyers, like the foot pedals on the table (I do that too)...but the mixer from the pic looks like some overkill...I assume it's for mixing fx mostly?

Since my last picture I have done a lot of updates.
New computer screens, new monitor speakers, new audio interface, and of course, most importantly, a new desk.

New computer screens, new monitor speakers, new audio interface, and of course, most importantly, a new desk.

***NOTE**
f*ck Instagram. This picture was not done with Instagram. Just time, patience, and knowledge.
My DAW is not up on my computer screens, but what you see here are:
2 AOC 27" HD Computer Monitors (Desk Mounted)
Sennheiser HD280 Pro (Head phones)
Yamaha HS80M's Monitor Speakers (All hail the white cones!)
NI Komplete Audio 6 (barely visible in the middle underneath the desk's shelf)
For DAW and other software I have a fairly modest collection:
Mixcraft Acoustica 6
112db products (Big Blue Limiter, Compressor. Redline Reverb)
MicroTonic
Scanned Synth Pro II
As well as quite a hand full of freeware effects, synths, and samplers
Not featured:
Computer
Lenovo Ideacenter case & MoBo
Intel i7-2600 @3.4GHz
Corsair Vengeance DDR3 16gb RAM (4gbx4)
nVidia GTX560 Ti Ferme
Seasonic X-Series 560w 80+ Gold
Guitar:
1970 Gibson Les Paul Custom (Humbucker pickup) w/ Tabacco Sunburst finish
DJ Board:
NI Traktor S4
Misc:
A bin under the desk. I am not a barbarian, I have to throw my trash somewhere.

Had a major re-organize of my studio. Made everything easier to get at, and got rid of a nasty hum that I noticed a few weeks back.

My temporary studio... on the floor in my bedroom.

I don't have a permanent place for my music gear at the moment, so I have to take what I can get. Hopefully I will have time to make some noise this weekend.
The cats are pissed that I'm using their stairs, though.
