Need your knowledge in the best way to start to play live

Hello everyone! I've been a while composing music in a daw, but.i want to start playing live. That means like triggering some loops, maybe beat-slicing, realtime effects, but mostly important, live looping. I already have a nano kontrol which i dont like due to its unstability, and a umx 610 wonky but velocity sensitive midi controller (both dissapointed me but i still use them). They have been not enough, because with those i can at most, control two instruments, but not really carry a real performance in a trustable way.
I was between an apc40 with an mpc, or a maschine by itself. Im open to new suggestions (take on account that i live in chile and we don't always have the latest things)
If you have some experience with live launching, and share, i'll be so thankful
