Very nice! I think I'll put it on my son's Asus Transformer tablet to try it. He'll be excited.

it's been announced 1 hour ago, you guys were pretty fast

I didn't realise FL Studio Windows version was so popular, according to the IL page for this there are on average 30,000 installs per day - nearly 11 million a year! :o

I'll show this to my son's who have Android tablets because they are both showing some interest in making music. Being able to borrow it would just be a coincidence. :hihi:

Bought, installed and loving it. Obviously it's not as fully featured as the PC version (hi captain obvious!) but it's still nice to have on the go. It is compatible with the PC and iOS version though!

Yes.
Installed it and then my daughter have stolen the rest of my time!
But so far it does look really nice and it seems to have some nice tricks up its sleeve- first thing that was not obvious was the possibility to expand pads up to over twenty pads and to be able to use for the melodic instruments as well..
Well tonight as soon as child go to bed!

Latency looks pretty bad compared to the IOS version.

Is this like the computer version, in that once bought you get lifetime free upgrades?

Also if you buy 1 license, can you use that on several android devices?

Post

Installed it an hour ago and well... I thought it'd be the best app ever and it's just OK. What striked me most is how the piano roll is ridiculously bad compared to what I expected.

Post

If you got a device that works as USB Host, does FL Studio Android work with that so you may connect a midi keyboard to the device and play it with that (like can be done in Caustic)?

Numanoid, I'd test it but I can't figure out how to setup my galaxy tab's usb to output enough power for the keyboard (apart from using a powered usb hub inbetween because of lack of one)

+1

This being FL Studio, I expected it to have an awesome piano roll but it is the most convoluted thing ever.

Hi, I meant to say "USB Host"

If you got that setting on your device, it's a possibility.

I got an LG Optimus L9 P760, unfortunately that cannot work as a USB host, so no chance to connect for me unfortunately :(

Seems to be incompatible with my new Sony Experia Z :(
