HELP - Cubase cannot reload project!

Some days ago I had the problem that Cubase could not open the project correctly. I saw every track in the sequencer, but I heard no sound. The CPU load was near zero. Rebooting Cubase did not help, I had to reboot the PC to solve this problem.

Today I had the same issue, but even reboot the PC does not work. Every other project is fine, the problem is only with Aalto-Solo BE edition.
I had 13 instances yesterday and the CPU load was about 75% without playing a note.

Does anyone have an idea what I can do?
Anyone else with a similar problem?

I tried to delete some tracks, but it seems that cubase is allready crashed during the try to open the project.

Similiar problem here, with Cubase 6.5, Aalto x64... Cubase crashes while reopening the project. No chance to recover it, so far.

I'm going to rename the plugin Aalto_x64.dll -> _Aalto_x64.dll, to make it unrecognizable by Cubase, and load the project without it, then I'll try to reassign the renamed _Aalto track by track. Let's see...

I've had this, all of a sudden all programmed sounds had disappeared. Had to redo all sounds. After that I saved all sounds I made as .fxp, but luckily it wasn't needed.
I thought it was just a glitch in the matrix, but it could be a weird bug.

I tried this trick. But whatever I rename Aalto, it was autimatically found and assigned to the tracks. But after a few starts, cubase asked me to register! What a shock!!! I first thought, I lost everything. I clicked the button "allready registred" and cube started with different windows settings and no more projects in the selection window, changes in the the metronome setting and I hope not much more I did not see yet. I could open the Aalto project, it worked, but when I closed it and tried to reopen it, it failed again.

So that's it for Aalto. When it touches settings for cubase it is too dangerous. I quit this month!

I also had quite a few crashes of Live 9. Everytime I open the Aalto project I cross my fingers... will it open or crash?

Ouch big shame with the Cubase/Aalto issues, I guess there was something more to it when people were adjusting their audio card buffer settings..

But it works for others, so maybe again proves that VST2 support is not really that great at Steinberg which would be ironic as they made it.

Don't you guys have other DAW's to try? There's a Live lite now and Reaper is fully functioning and others too. Just load up a similar amount of instances etc as before and see if it loads or if it's mostly a Cubase issue.

A bit late now anyway, but hopefully Madrona Labs will make a fix before long so do try it again then.

This synth sure had its personality even if it wasn't all "charming personality" just as KVRers have been saying.

I'm having problems with it too.
We didn't expect this with Aalto BE.

Now that i reached about +12 instances, everytime i want to load the proyect a few instances just exploded and everytime i want to focus the UI in that broken one, FL Studio gets frozen.
Thanks i'm saving different proyects. So i will take some parts and render to wave (most part of them), is the only way to finish something correct with this synth.

Maybe that's why i had ticked off the Multithreaded option.

In any case, i will try to finish it. This will be a pain in the arse, but i want to fight for that Lush

This makes me thing i want to use just some good synths for my own music.
As soon as FL 11 arrives, i will delete many things from my VST folder.

Good news: Aalto @32 bit seems to work on Cubase Studio 4. I'm still crossing the fingers, anyway!
