Yup, and I emphasize this is just my personal opinion and preference... For sure you can make great music with fm7 or fm8 no doubt about it. I just like old noisy things

I'd kill to see this for Windows... Hexter is probably the best straight emulation we have, and while I won't knock it, I'm concerned for its long term viability, as the project is no longer update it.

Seems like I'm not the only one who wanted to see this project in a plugin format; so I made a port to VST Mac/PC : https://github.com/asb2m10/dexed

It is free/open source; the UI is ugly, but the engine sounds pretty good (the original project did a good job) :

I have added sliders to follow envelopes of each operators; it was my first request when I played on an original DX7

Any feedback is welcome !

if it imports sysex, i have a tx7 and want to know will it import my tx7 presets? you should have this tx7 support to it.
