But that's just me and my workflow. FL is great DAW in many respects and I think i'll eventually buy it one day (thanks IL for sensible demo policy).

hmmm, why did you change the piano roll paint functionality?
now it seems to draw a sort of "mono" lines, meaning, you draw a line, then drawing one above will cause the previous one below to disappear as if moving higher. it didn't do this before.

also, track grouping seems to be just what the doctor ordered to help handle the often intimidating playlists of big projects, awesome.

Weird, it doesn't do that to me, the piano roll works as it did in the previous version.

Congrats to the team! very cool to see the performance mode.

Seems quite interesting I will try, nice new plug ins too from the looks of it!

Definitively FL studio can be a great deal, if sometime they make possible to edit multiple midi lanes at the same time it will probably be one of the best!

Any kinds of plans for Linux support (I know Bitwig should get me there but options are always nice)?

BTW is NewTone included in any of the FL versions or is a only separate buy?

Thanks to all for your patience, the site should be running stably now, we had over 1,000,000 hits (280+ per second) in the hour after we announced FL Studio 11....and that was while the USA was sleeping.

Seems our user base is so large we create our own DOS attack when we announce anything special

Gone are the days of "Fruity loops" just a simple daw. There is so many great things in FL studio now that I am tempted to switch over from Live. Even the pro DAW dont have alot of the functionality and cleverness this program offers.

I really hope you guys have teamed up with Groove3 or MVP for some tutorial for us folks that wanna migrate to FL Studio.

Just one more question, does the prices listed include VAT?

BTW I downloaded the demo to Ubuntu (12.10) and I tried to run it with wine (just to try it as I wouldnt like to rely on it) and to my suprisse it actually runs, the demo song actualy runs! That is impressive

But... I dont have any words on the menus and the like, I also have some distortion on the sound but I cant open anything, namely audio setting, because I dont know where things are...

Anyway I lurked a bit before close it and it actually seems to run nice, I could even play with harmor.

Anyway if anyone knows how could I improve the situation I would be glad to test it a bit more.

The new stuff are great, but I really miss the old pattern blocks. Not for sequencing, but to organize patterns. I can't do that inside the browser. No color coding...

Isn't this a spesific "mono brush" mode in the editor?
