I've been testing the new Alchemy Mobile update for a while now...great stuff on the way...drum pads, audiobus, 4 tracks, improved midi, etc. here's a little something I did using just the stock sounds it comes with (no add ons). I used Alchemy with AudioBus and recorded tracks into Cubasis...

I wake up every morning checking for the V2 update!
I really need to create a Soundcloud account. Am a beta tester also and I can now do nearly everything I want just remaining in Alchemy. V1 was great, but I can't go back now. Not with the 4-track recorder and new drum pads (which are all displayed in the photo so I assume I can mention them, in addition to Derek mentioning them).
It's a beautiful day here today and was maybe going to head over to the river during lunch and fire up the beta and work on something new.
Nice example Derek. Always a pleasure to hear your music.

Yay on the Audiobus! Question: Is Alchemy Mobile ever going to be compatible with Jack and/or Tabletop?

I haven't upgraded to the pro version, but now it sounds like I should. Maybe.
I wonder if the price will go up after the update is released. Possibly even a sale...

I highly recommend the Pro version. The Pro version adds some very beneficial features. You can save/load projects. This feature will allow you to make edits to the sounds and save them for later recall. It offers more MIDI features and background audio. It lets you load Alchemy Desktop sound libraries. This feature is fantastic. I've got four full desktop libraries (in addition to some of the iOS libraries) on the iPad. Tempo sync. Will record moving the remix pads. Mark your favorite sounds. In addition to several others, but these are the main reasons I like the Pro version. That's plenty to like. These features were all available in V1. In version 2, there are even more features to separate Basic from Pro.

Is it a synthesis based drum machine, sample based or hybrid?
Either way, I'm definitely interested in picking up another camel app.

Yeah, lots of control over the sound and I love the synth's keyboard (wiggle).
