V'ger I'm adding a copy of Image-Line Biohazard, Sugar-Bytes Effectrix, and 4GB of free samples to the prize pool (I'll take pictures of the serial numbers).

Keep them up until each is gone.
That's awesome, thanks :tu: All for one competition?

@Moldavsky: Any type of distortion is allowed per the rules, only limit is to take the sounds 'beyond recognition'.

As with all effects there will be those for and against, but especially distortion so I would be careful or people might vote me down a point etc.

Spread the love however you want V'ger. Biohazard, and 4GB samples are available now, I'm waiting for Effectrix, I'll post when I get it in the mail.

Here is what the 4GB samples are: http://www.musiciansfriend.com/accessor ... nd-samples

I'll keep the thumb drives.

If there's no hurry it might be best to spread them out a little, I'll let you know.

I love Fabfilter's Saturn and Permut8 for glitchy crushy mangling, although for the comp I reckon freebies like bitcrasher are the way forward. Is there anything (free) that rivals Permut8?

Permut8's features seem quite unique. I think you would need to use two plugs to get similar results, like any bit-crasher and maybe Minimal System Delay Studio.

Thanks for the cumpliment. (Actually i liked the Skynet comparison lol)

I watch for those:
Facebook, Bedroom Producers Blog, KVR forums and VSTplanet.
Everyday, no exceptions.

Due i'm always have been poor and i started with freebies in the musical world, i always wanted to push forward the freebies, to spread them all that i can, so people, any kind, anywhere, can do music with freebies.
There are great talented guys who can't afford music production stuff, so i always want to help a bit into this.

I'm not the typical guy that started poor, gets professional and forget about the freebies or the people that can't make music. I'm still human after all. (and still no professional anyway, hehe).

Even now that i have many NFR commercial synths, effects and great gifts from friends, i still want that people with difficulties about making music to reach these instruments. The best way i can do, i know it is not enough in any case, but there is my little grain of sand.
Everyday i'm seeing a new freebie, synth, effect, soundbank or daw i'm sending a message to Tomislav (Bedroom Producer Blog author) in case he missed something. Or posting them here, in the general thread.

Many years ago there were almost no freebies for music production, i was lost in that epoque and i needed to express myself, but i couldn't and i was getting crazy looking for freebies everywhere.
Nowadays, there are great solutions for this, some of them are even better than a few commercial ones or at least have the same quality.

Nowadays anyone can do music, they just need a computer and the will to do it. The talent will come with the practise and the way they express the feelings within.

Have a nice day mate :)

Well said Irion,

**EDIT: I re-read the rules... it looks like they are giving away 2 copies... I won't quickly scan so fast next time. **

There is another thing that I like about Irion is he suggests / recommends good freeware plugin in those "Best plugins", "Which one is best", "Which plugin should I get next" threads. Truly promotes freeware plugins which is a good thing.
FireBird+ is a great plugin, got it in the Beat mag. Tone2 should bring it to the current technologies or what you call it. Not that it's not good as it is but 64-bit, CPU usage complaints are something that they should iron out.

V'ger: Lets use this synth in future OSC. I understand FB haters will not budge and will not get a copy :-)

Pay mag? We've had some Beat download freebies lately so don't know if pay option BE fits right now although a one-mag version would reflect KVR as well as free and pay synths.

Which specifically? Fixed list of plugins? We could do a poll on that again, you want?

I meant FireBird. It's being given away for free by Tone2. All one need to do is like their FB page.
