the pre-randomised memory is the "batteries-out" effect, you can disable it if it becomes annoying

meanwhile i made another jam last night, this time using the midi controller and also the x0xb0x

and the "finished" track (some weird sounds added afterwards in the DAW)

i'm making a few notes as i check it out. ideas more than
'requests' i'm sure you want to take a bit of a break
from this for a while!
eg:
1/small text could be a bit lighter for better visibility
2/LCD could be useful as a click area for a menu/access etc.
3/some sort of sequencer progress/step view on LCD?
4/loads of positions still free on that rotary selector!

yes, i would f*ckin love to make a drum synth and/or drum sequencer (best will be both)

the free positions on the rotary selector are there for a purpose, however i don't know when it's gonna happen..

i made myself a silly website *EDITED*
you can find the new AS_XC3 plugin - it generates midisync and most importantly starts/stops together with the DAW
so that's an alternative to HostSync mode (if your daw supports midi output and routing between plugins without filtering the midisync messages)
you can of course use the clock to drive anything else that happens to use midisync
oh, and you can haz shuffle ;]

Can someone help me with "Host Sync" in Fl studio? can't get any sound.

sergiofrias: in HostSync you have to use a midi note (any) on the trigger channel
when a midi note is pressed down - the sequencer will run
when there's no note - the sequencer will stop

in your DAW's time line, it's a good idea to leave 1 or more bars empty before "running" the VB-303 sequencer, especially for those DAWs which reset the plugins on start

that's printed when the sequencer boots
in normal conditions it happens so fast you almost never see it
but if it remains on screen, it means one of two things:
1) the sequencer has frozen
2) it hasn't cleared the display

basically if you see LEDs blinking - it can't be #1 more likely #2

btw, i suspect FLStudio will reset the plugin on start/stop, that would make the sequencer reboot, which is not great ;]
in that case you would have to leave 1 or more empty bars before you start the VB-303

Edit : I ask myself, maybe I'm too lazy to re-read the manual or the thread, is there a way to have midi out from VB-303 ? to make others instruments follow the internal pattern sequencer ?
