only people who feel a need to fit in somewhere like this genre or that genre,i djed once and was playin stuff from add n to x to the orb,aside from one easily dodged shoe

windchillfactor - great, meandering track. You have a very interesting voice!
Not sure if the percussion suits, but then that's part of the charm
(if that makes any sense).

Khepira - Fascinating track that I can't really get a hold of, such a mish-mash of styles. First
I think..ah, I don't like it, and then I really do.
example - that 4-note guitar thing in the first half was JUST beginning to piss me off
when it ended and then got a lot more interesting.
How would YOU class this?

Beardedone - The one and only. Weird sensation listening to your tracks, Gordon.
Instantly recognisable, but NEVER predictable, always challenging. I like the brass in this track. Sounds much more realistic than reeds.

MarcJX8P - Ah, that synth sound at :037 got me

. Wicked. Great sound spread. That drum loop and fill
is a little too tame for my liking - brings me back to reality a little too harshly. Great track, tho.

Mystahr - love the discordant tinkling from 0:50, but it becomes a bit intrusive as it continues through the rest of the track.
Would have liked something to soothe the pain in there somewhere.

Ixox - Is this the first time "Got to get this monkey off my back" has been uttered in a song?

Great track as usual from you. Lack of effects on the vox made it feel a little bare, despite all
the great orchestration.

reviews continued:

29. miro – dirty city – very smooth song, like the groovin’ bass line a lot. Dammit, the vocals remind me of a band, they sang a song called “natural one,” (I think it begins with an “s”……..dammit!!!) like the drum beat as well. Nicely done. What the hell was the name of that band!!!!!!!!

30. DuncanParsons – in decision – honestly did not like the sounds one bit – too computer sounding for me. But loved the actual composition itself. Drum programming was nice too – just those darn sounds again.

31. wilkoryte - je deviens agressif - a French ACDC (guitarwise)!!!!! Very kick ass guitar playing!!! I couldn’t understand one damn word in the vocals, but that didn’t matter one bit.

32. TO – If I Could find the Words – link down

33. windchillfactor – vicious crowd – hmmm. Dark and strange. The guy on the hand drums can do some wicked rolls – lol. I liked the clean guitars. Seems there was a lot of things happening in this song. Probably take a couple of more listens to catch it all.

34. garret - accomplishing, believing - death to all organs!!! okay, sorry, hate organs (if you couldn't tell) now, vocals and guitars were great. good lyrics there too. nice uplifting song.

Glad you like the notes! Is it the drum sound? the other sounds are quite standard - mda epiano, the notsoavailable 4Front GSyn Bass Synth, tubilesax and Fitch.. If this is the case - don't go listening to anything with Bill Bruford on it - you'll hate it!!

If it's not just the drums, both Luigi and Claire will gladly answer you!

As I said, the track was born in InDecision, and I guess some of my final decisions won't be appreciated by all!

Anyway, glad you like the notes!

yeah, mostly the drums. i'm not a fan of tublisax either (but don't tell luigi). but again, from a musical standpoint, nice composition.
