You don't even need to download anything. After installing the synth the manual appears in the same folder with the presets (it's in the Documents on win7).
Btw, the synth sounds stunningly good. The GUI is kinda tricky, but, at least at the first glance, the manual seems to explain it well.
Got Tone2 Firebird week ago, now this. I wonder what we'll have next for a Facebook like? Native version of Access Virus?

Does anyone know if this version requires the installation of the Pace copy protection virus ? The SE version which I purchased as a no brainer deal a few years ago did which is why I haven't reinstalled it on my new hard drive.......

The installer didn't tell me that it installs anything besides the synth itself. The synth is protected by serial which you get on Xils website by submitting your e-mail .Teksonik wrote:Does anyone know if this version requires the installation of the Pace copy protection virus ? Ahhh ok thanks..... you might want to check for a Pace folder anyway just to be safe.

Where should it be? Just checked and found nothing like this in my program files folders (I'm on Win).Teksonik wrote:Ahhh ok thanks..... you might want to check for a Pace folder anyway just to be safe.
Windows search also retrieves nothing containing the word "Pace"

I don't think so. All that gets installed is the plugin, data files and an additional dll, XilsFiles32.dll, in the sys dir (which can be moved manually to the plugin dir after install). CP is simple serial only AFAICS, no dongle, online activation or hardware key (unlike Nuklear BE).Teksonik wrote:Does anyone know if this version requires the installation of the Pace copy protection virus ? Pretty cool plugin btw. Thanks Beat and Xils Lab!

Hi,
The first XILS 3 LE was protected with a Pace serial.
We removed this PACE serial protection from version 1.0.7 and now are using a serial from our own. So For the XILS 3 LE and the XILS BE, no pace files are installed on your system (only the vst, AU,RTAS plug-ins and on windows, two .dll files used by the preset management)
But the Full XILS 3 version is still protected either by the PACE iLok, either by the USB-eLicenser.
Best regards
Xavier

Hi there, I'm having some difficulty attempting to use the 64 bit version of this plug. While the 32 bit version can be seen and used in Reaper with it's built in bit bridge, the 64 bit cannot. It simply does not show up in the plug in lists. While this isn't too much of a problem in Reaper, my newly purchased Live 9, without bit bridge, cannot access the plug.
I have re-installed twice, specifying folders for the .dll files as per the installation procedure, to no avail. Can anyone think of anything to try and remedy this? For clarity, both DAWs are pointed to the correct plugin folder, and I'm running Win 7, if that helps at all.
Best regards,
Andy

Thanks. So there is a version of LE that no longer requires Pace ? If so I can install it again. It's a nice synth. I'll check when I get home later.xavier wrote:Hi,
