phreaque wrote:Hello mates,

Here's my preset pack, although I have many, but they need to be checked once again.
BTW, the format is FL Studio (.fst) later I will make it as standard (.fxp)

Anyway, here's the .fxp format for you guys because many of you don't use FL Studio ;)

Thanks! Really appreciate it (and the .fxp, I'm on Reaper).

sinkmusic Sure. Most of your presets are there, thay have 'sinkmusic' in their name. I just didn't keep the full name and numbered them (cause program name limit is 31 chars and I have name prefixes like 'Seq 2keys 16st'...)
phreaqueCan I include some of your presets also? I checked some of the and they are really nice.
A.M. GoldI just checked it again and in loads fine, at least inside FL with bluearp's MENU->Load bank. Can you describe your steps? Can you load fxp files? (individual programs)

Ok, I tried loading it from Reaper itself. I'll try loading it from BlueARP. Thanks.

Hey, these are great, Oleg, thanks so much!

One feature request for some later date might be a drop down menu for internal presets, since that will make it easier to find what you want than just scolling.

Unfortunately there is no host saving functioning for this version of BlueARP in Reaper 4.

The plug-in always reverts back to init with no bank or program loaded whenever a project is reopened, regardless of any settings that were saved with the project.

Hi all. I'm finalizing current version. Bank is 80% ready, only need to add more bass pattrens. I'm eager to play with chord recognition, but I'll do it after 1st release. At this point I don't touch MIDI engine since we spent so much time testing it and debugging.

Drop down menu is on the way, almost ready.

Looks weird. Does it happen with other plugins as well?

Thanks, I almost finished, your presets are there ;) You can improve it later if you wish, I'll post it tomorrow with the update (adding patch list menu)

Not sure it will be musically useful and intuitive.

Here's the update
http://www.graywolf2004.net/files/BlueARP_v1.11rc8.zip

Changes:
1. Improved patch browser, added drop-down menu
2. Factory bank with 64 presets

There are some minor issues to discuss:

- Is it better to automatically load factory bank on BlueARP load or leave it as it works now?

- BlueARP won't remember current program number if it was changed from bluearp itself (not from host). I don't know what to do with it. This behaviour seems common to other VST plugins. You can remember current program number with the bank, but anyway it's all unclear. Program can be switched both from host and from plugin itself. If you change it within plugin, host doesn't know about this fact and on next load it will set the old program number. You can ignore program number set from host and rely on number recorded with the bank, but this way it will be impossible to change it from host. If it's possible for VST plugin to tell the host that program number changed it will be the solution, but I didn't find the way.

PS. I'm going to create youtube video with presets demonstration. Already created FL Studio project, where I use freeware T-Force Alpha Plus synth (it has great supersaw's). I can share FL project as well.

By definition a factory bank is built in the plugin and gets loaded by default but yeah, people, including myself, might prefer to start with a "blank" bank/presets so perhaps just leave the first preset "blank" in the factory bank.

There surely is a way to do it as some other plugins appear to not have this issue. When I load an fxb bank in Dune BE through the plugin itself, the host preset browser gets immediately populated with the new presets names which doesn't happen with yours and is certainly a related issue as browsing presets in Dune , and also in Xhip, is immediately mirrored by a change to the corresponding bank slot in the host preset browser. Anyway, ask in the DSP subforum if you can't crack it, you'll certainly get the needed hints.

Privet Master Oleg :)

Till now everything is going excellent to me at least , but I believe other users may prefer to start up with a bank loaded already...
Let's increase the bank to at least 128 presets and then you decided to include it or not...

What's your next idea (improvement) ? :)
