Announced in the latest CM.

From Cableguys, a superb flexible waveshaping, distortion and oscilloscope plugin for PC and MAC

Can't find the full version of Waveshaper on Cableguys webpage: http://www.cableguys.de/

Guess it is sort of a module FX that has been extracted from Curve, as the GUI looks Curve-y...

Yes, we did it exclusively for Computer Music Magazine. I guess it has the most flexible drawing of waveshaping curves to date.

Curve 2 does not have a waveshaper module built-in, so it's something new. But of course, based on the same framework. And it has public preset sharing!

got it already, questions in CM Vault (which I will get through Zinio anyway) to get the downloads were dumb easy

Indeed they are! I'll also be getting it from Zinio but I have something to play with in the meantime.

I notice that issues 16 and 17 are available in the dropdown list. Has anyone added them to their vault and what downloads do they come with? Curious about that...

I'm intrigued. What makes this more flexible than, for example, the free Meldaproduction Mwaveshaper with it's multiple curve/step types?

I suppose I could just wait and find out, I'll be getting CM and this plugin when it's released anyway!

Those are for the Ultimate Guide to Effects and Ultimate Guide to Ableton Live. They're not issues 16 and 17 of CM
