Oh, and i am not "hysterical" MR as i couldn't give a toss if crysonic bait you and rape you of your money. You are a perfect example who i feel zero empathy for. as far as their promises, yep, they kept on making promises and breaking them. Even in this very topic. They suck.
You say you are not hysterical and you mention rape etc.

I live without Crysonic plugins, and I'm happy! I've never missed anything!
Why should I use Crysonic plugins whilst there are many other plugin developers with great, bug-free plugins and extraordinary customer support, and I can ask them here at KVR if I have a problem with their plugins, and they respond within a day or so...
I've never seen any Crysonic support here, some guys just show up to present the newest deal, and that's all. Should I order their deal only to see if I do get the ordered plugins at all??

Seriously, stop this or I might see the lock-train coming by very fast.
This thread is a warning sign for all particupants - fans of Crysonic, future Crysonic interests, and former Crysonic members.
I won't touch this topic anymore, but I highly recommend ANYONE who wants to be part of the Crysonic train-ride, to read the backlogs.
You've been warned.
Else, if you're happy with Crysonic's work, then by all means stay with Crysonic. If not, then not.
Keep it civil, or this thread will also be locked and vanish in the depths of the archives. Until the next "crysonic" thread is popping up again.
Thanks.

The worst I see is a long time ago they promised 64 bit compatibility and it never happened on a snyth plug. Not exactly sky is falling if you ask me.koolkeys wrote:You seem to equate YOU not being ripped off and the plugins working fine for you with others not having a reason to be mad.thefyn wrote:Empathy for what? You're ignoring my post above, which others have also said. For whatever reason, you're blind to what actually happened and you continue to minimize it to just the 64-bit issue on a plug.thefyn wrote:The worst I see is a long time ago they promised 64 bit compatibility and it never happened on a snyth plug. I think a read up on the backlogs might solve all this.
Heck even the first 5-7 pages repeat all that. Nothing more can be said, nothing more should be said.

I want to get this straight: They put out a product, it did not work, no refunds. Is that what happened?

Well, that did happen with some people. However, no, that's not the issue.thefyn wrote:

Did you even read my post above? Here, let me make it easy for you:
BrentCrysonic at one point had all SynthEdit plugins, which obviously made them 32-bit only. They told people that 64-bit and Mac support was coming as they were hiring programmers to do it. And they did.
The problem? They told people WHEN THEY PURCHASED that these updates to 64-bit, etc. would be FREE UPDATES for current users. In fact, they had sale after sale after sale where they told people, "buy now, get the updates when they come". And people bought it.
One year passed, and then another, and then another........and then they finally started putting out the updates. The problem? They were not free as promised.
Not only that, but the versions they released did NOT work in many cases. And not only that, but they switched to a difficult manual challenge response system. So to get the updates people were promised DOZENS of times, they had to pay money, deal with buggy versions and switch to a new copy protection that was very restrictive.
I'm not even talking about customer service issues, or bugs, or anything else. Just that alone killed their reputation here.

That reiterates what I already said...That they dragged their feet on the 64 bit aspect and over promised in the past.koolkeys wrote:Well, that did happen with some people. Who has not changed their install/password etc methods? Waves did...They are on V9, Nomad did...they used to be Ilok. Like I said, other developers have dragged their feet on 64 bit and only a fraction of Waves stuff is true 64 bit.

Actually, no, it doesn't confirm anything you said. You are trying to VASTLY simplify and diminish what actually happened, which is that they continually sold products with one of the selling points of EVERY SALE being that you will get the 64-bit and Mac versions once they were released. They promised it over and over and over. They said for at LEAST three years that the updates were coming "in the next couple of months", all while promising them to new buyers who bought into the sale. They took people's money and didn't deliver what was promised. Period.thefyn wrote: That reiterates what I already said...That they dragged their feet on the 64 bit aspect and over promised in the past.

All the rest, including individual situations of rudeness or bad support, etc. don't even need to be stated. Though there were many more problems, they all started with what I said above.
Maybe you work for them, maybe not. I don't know. Maybe you're just a customer who has had a good experience. I don't know. But for whatever reason, you've blinded yourself to actually listening.

Where is the promise of 64 bit? You said they do it in all adverts.
They had emails, threads on KVR and many more places that made the promises.
You are drawing only from your VERY LIMITED knowledge of the situation, and your very limited experience with Crysonic.
This thread, which is Crysonic's APOLOGY and admitting to doing wrong, was started in 2010. Think outside of your own experience for a minute.

I am a fan of their plugs and use at least 2 of them for everything I do.
I used Sindo and spectraphy V2 on this:
