This is it... I totally agree with you. The interface is one of the best I've used so far. Pretty much everything is laid out as you'd want it from a producers perspective.

Also, I love that little 'init' button. It just allows you to get working straight away with no messing around. Unlike many other synths that you have to trawl about - and that's assuming that the devs bothered to put one in, in the first place. :(

A lot of other companies could take a lesson from these guys imo.

D/L link (.dmg) doesn't seem to be working for me...I've tried two separate browsers, altering the the URL, and Google search, but all failed to connect to the server :(

Bought... I really like the sound of Spire! It has a very nice "punch".
Question to the dev: on how many machines am I allowed to install it?

Sorry I demoed it but couldn't see anything special about it. The filters are pretty basic and so is the architecture.

That was my concern. It seems to offer very little that isnt already covered, so quality would have to be amazing for me to be interested. Still, i'll dig around later and see how it performs.

I like it, but what I don't like is the high CPU usage in polyphony mode.

Hopefully this will improve!

I really have found that it is indeed quite the powerhouse of a synth, and it can sound quite a lot like sylenth or dune.

The interface is nice, I find it easy to work with and the ability to have up to 9 unison voices per oscillator is a nice thing for making big sounds!

I think this is a winner if they can figure out how to lower the CPU and maybe sell it for a bit less then sylenth. Also if they can add a gain/saturation stage to the filters to add a bit of warmth it could maybe make it sound a bit dirtier.

Another thing that would be cool to see is the ability to change the light colors in the GUI.

So far though this is looking good!

The automation learn works flawlessly in live 9 x32 on OSX here and I can't wait to see a X64 version since this is what i mainly use.

One more suggestion is Oscillator drift! If you can add drift to this it might win over some of the analog lovers :P

Isn't there drift already?

bottom left, on and off and I think if you select it there may be a parameter to adjust the strength of it (that part may be my imagination, but I know there is an on and off, bottom left.

i consider 69,- EUR (excl. VAT) a bit less then 139,- EUR (excl. VAT) you not? :P

that's the intro price, I assume he means the final price, after arp and step have been incorporated.

Your totally right I didn't see that.

Also the 5 pages for the mod matrix is impressive ...

A part of me selfishly hopes you are right....I am not ready to buy it yet.

From the license agreement:

3.2. The user has the right to use the purchased license on any number of computers belonging to him, if you are the only person using the software.

Ok i've been playing more and more with this, and it is really a sound design playground!

There is more to this than meets the eye.. the modulation is nuts. Seriously Vega555 your team needs to bring down the CPU a bit if possible or at least offer different options for CPU and also don't forget to add an option for oversampling for both Render and live!

If you can do this and bring out the X64 for OSX you definitely will have a winner. *edited* I actually don't need another synth but if i was looking for a starter synth to cover lots of bases like sylenth I would pick this up for sure. Get the CPU lower though..

tbh I felt the same way about Sylenth too though. Never really got the hype.
