You can stop conspiracy theory..

But come on, having alternative skins by users floating around is not exactly the same as adding it to the defaults in an update and actually posting a news page about it being in the update on your website!

It's gotta be some kind of weird nod to bitwig. "Hey you copied us, so we'll copy you.." or something...

But, at the end of the day, who cares. It looks sweet. And Live's alternative skins rarely look anything but hideous. Nice to see they're learning some aesthetic skins from the new competition.

I always been the type to say dish it out, you gotta be able to take it back. It just confirms how difficult i find ultra dark gui's though after trying it in ableton.
HMM? Logic was pretty dark up until 8 really. Version 4 was dark dark dark, and I liked it. 8)

Just installed 9.0.4. IMO the new disco skin looks great. Nice work Ableton!

Just curious - raise your hand if you were even alive yet when these color schemes were cool the first time around? Mid-late 70's. John Travolta and the BeeGees should be complaining about these ripoffs of 70's and early 80's color schemes ripped off from Activision cartridge labels.

It was the early 80s by the time we were allowed to have an Atari console. Damn I wasted so much time + money on those games :D

Pitfall was my favourite. Pitfall 2 was a huge disappointment. Way to easy to beat :(

Andy.
