FYI version 1.013 was recently released, and this now includes loop modulation, as well as a few other new modulation targets.juansep wrote:Sure, what I want to do is say, sample a bar from my song, import it on nuance so I can make an effect where I put it on loop, I start with a very short loop and I increase the loop end marker while its playing, so it kind of chops in a very nice way, every time the loop restarts it will last a little longer than the previous pass, kinda what you can do with a CDJ.
I'm loving nuance but i'd kill to have this feature, not sure how hard it is to implement, let me know if I didn't make myself clear.

Thanks for the request, I also think a beat-locked LFO makes sense and will see if it can be worked in at some point...hcv242 wrote:hello.
could it be possible that you add sync to song position to your lfo?
sync to song position syncs/restarts the lfo at the start of the song. the phase knob sets where the lfo starts.

Hi Everyone
The discussion earlier in this thread was really helpful in defining the 1.1 update, so I just wanted to share some news with you guys about it... It's now in the latter stages of testing, and the main improvement is a revised FX section with 4 dynamic insert slots, and a total of 8 FX algorithms.

Official news and announcement will come in due course, but registered users can already download the current RC from the User Area.
cheers!

Looks nice and all, but $89 for a simple sampler?
Don't think so.

It's great if you need but don't have Ableton's Sampler instrument. It offers a bit more than sampler actually if you don't have m4L too.
I wish someone made a live looper with all this. If I could record and overdub loops and then mangle them the way nuance lets you mangle samples. That would open some really cool possibilities.

Does this have the same internal modulation recording system like Granite?

I quite like the look of this sampler but its functionality isnt quite as quick as Id hope...
FOr example it would be nice to be able to switch on and off looping in the main window (as well as adjusting crossfades and lengths)...and also when you adjust the loop points for it to change as you move...currently you have to let go of the key and fire another note for it to adjust the loop point to your change...

Definitely "feature requests" which would be worthwhile addressing!

Wheres the uninstaller?
Granite has one but Nuance doesnt have one either in the install folder or under Windows Programs and Features.
Thats a bit naughty

Just place the mouse cursor anywhere over the main waveform, a loop button appears in the bottom-right corner of the waveform, as in this pic...analoguesamples909 wrote:FOr example it would be nice to be able to switch on and off looping in the main window...

but you are right about the non-realtime updating of the start/end points, makes sense and noted!

Thats odd - there should be an entry "Nuance Demo" there (in Control Panel / Programs and Features). Just checked on the nearest PC and it works thereVariKusBrainZ wrote:Wheres the uninstaller?

Any chance of the motion record function coming to Nuance?
I really love this and wish more VST had it.

It would be nice, but it's not that straightforward - Granite is a free-running and monophonic (in terms of the master envelope, not the grains obviously) so it works there perfectly, but it is more tricky to work it into a polyphonic instrument. I'm not saying its impossibleVariKusBrainZ wrote: Any chance of the motion record function coming to Nuance?

Cool I like this sampler but real time update is where things get really creative...and also a handle for the crossfade looping...would like to pick this up if it did that...its a great replacement for simpler and with a nice browser and more features...newsonicarts wrote:
