By default all oscillators are using Env1. Is there a way to route each osc to its own envelope? I tried in matrix but Env 1 is still affecting them. Shame if we can't sculpt them separately?

Option to sync oscillators would also be nice...

no, not really so experimental...i think the main issue i have is the price, which i think is a little high for something that is just another of the same....

if any developer needed supporting to develop their plugin to full potential it would be the 'sonic academy' guys with 'ana'....i like their approach to entry-level pricing while offering a great start for synthesis that has a great potential

just don't think this offers anything to justify the price...would go for 'diversion' any day over this

anyways, will stop now as i don't want to be totally negative about it...like i say, it's good, just not that good

According to the manual. :D

"In order to assign, for example, the second envelope of the second oscillator, set the volume of Osc_Amp_2 at 30 (the minimum operating volume of the oscillator).
Then, in the envelope 2, assign a receiver Osc_Amp2 and set an appropriate level of influence.
"

The trick is to crank the Osc you want to affect so that its light comes on (top section of interface) don't try to turn its level up.
Then use the lower section to amp it.

No need to use the matrix.

I actually like Sonic Academy's A.N.A. a lot. The sound and price make it a killer choice, especially when you begin to dig deeper. Absolutely terrific for Sylenth sounds and also more aggressive sounds.

Spire is something different. There is a Sylenth and Virus connection, but there is a much deeper synth than the interface first seems to display.

Nice! Too bad I'm out of money at the moment, becouse this feels to me like Sylenth. Just a little handy synth to load for everyday tasks with sweet unisono. ...but fresh and with more modulating options! Cool.

Personally I'd love to suggest copy and paste for unisono section, possibility to route distortion filter after bitsrushing and rate reduction, and few more waveform changing possibilites would be cool also. ...but anyway, amazing synth! Keep it up! There is demo restriction for reviews on KVR, right? :/ I'd like to help the dev at least this way.

I get a horrible clicking sounds, some sort of audio artifact in-which is making it very difficult for me to do much with the Synth atm.

I love the interface and possibilities, but this clicking sound is quite annoying. It's like some sort of clicking pattern...

CPU usage is quite high as well.

I'm using FLStudio 11.
Windows 8.
Dell XPS 17.

I am getting a horribly clicking pattern, which dies but then comes back and just continously has the clicking artifact sound.

It's extremely frustrating. I understand this is still early days, but would you guys be able to look into this?

Also... CPU usage is high, nothing my system can't handle, but enough to notice the usage.

Hey mate,

Click the little cog in the FL instrument wrapper (top left), and go to the tab labeled "PROCESSING" and enable "use fixed buffer size". Leave the "Options" in the fixed buffer size sub menu as is. Should be fix the problem ;)

Well, basically, afaik, it adds a tad of latency, but allows for better processing of the VST via the wrapper when there are compatibility issues. In general it's better to leave that unticked if there's no problem with the synth (as it's in a more optimized state then). The only time I've had to use that (and I'd suggest the same to others) is with synths that exhibit that popping and clicking behavior, when I'm clearly not running out of CPU. Other than that, not much use really, so best to leave it untouched unless really needed ;)

Trying out the demo.

I allready miss on/off (mute) buttons on oscillators and on the modulators.
Now i have to turn down the oscillator to shut it off and then i have to remember the volume setting when bringing it back on. And the same goes for the modulators.
It is totally normal to need this when programming sounds.
(Look at Alchemy and learn) :-)

Otherwise a great synth to make good sounds with.
